Grow! Grow! Grow!
Or you'll be left behind
How productive was your week?
Are you accountable for your time?

Tell me just what it is-
You bring to the table
How much would you profit me?
If you are even able.

Next! Next! Next!
Could you command a room?
Can you read context?

Tell me your greatest weakness
Is it also your greatest strength?
What exactly is your worth?
When you include your height and weight.

Are you reliable?
Do you think you're personable?
How do you work with coworkers?
Would you share bathrooms with her?

How flexible is your time-
when in truth its actually mine.
Good answer, sign this line,
No need to know what this implies.

See you Monday, watch your breaks.
Be on time, don't clock out late.
Remember there's no overtime.
My door is open anytime.

Welcome to the family.
Weekly breakdowns guaranteed.
Tour our facility, get to know the faculty.
We've had to lock the balcony,
apart from that small tragedy,
here we live quite lavishly.

First day's always the hardest one
Keep your head down till it's done
If you can bare the powderkeg
You can expect your weekly check

See you soon and don't forget,
You haven't even started yet!

If only I could finally
Find a way to please
Persephone
Then maybe
I wouldn't feel the cold of winter-
So personally
For Persephone
If only she could hear me
Id let her know that I could be
Whatever she would ask of me
And maybe I would find myself
Finally free

Am I in league with Hell?
Or is that just how it feels?

Am I truly evil?
Is it my ideals?

Is it my rage alone-
That electrifies the eels?

The fear inside
It petrifies and reels

Pulls me back and forth
Conceals what's truly real

The reaction I can give a thing
Is not always how I feel

And past the stars and burning eyes
The truth can finally be realized
If it was overkill
Or if it was justified

gray sweatshirt my mother sent

suffocating but my airway is clear

where is the voice i want to hear?

i wish someone else could see

If my love could heal,
the faded traumas
which adorn your skin
would expire

If my love could heal,
you wouldn't pleasure yourself
to the idea
of her suicide

If my love could heal,
you'd feel your mother's absent love
through the cracks
in my lips

If my love could heal,
maybe I'd learn to heal myself
before others

And then maybe;
I would've healed myself
before a predator

Days spent inpatient
Couldn't save me from me
Years spent in treatment
Failing to set me free
Dozens of medications
Just to be told it's BPD
Hundreds of coping mechanisms
Yet you still won't believe
I've worn myself out trying
To fight for a release.
cope or die is what is really comes down to, but no amount of "coping" will erase a life's worth of trauma.

Edgar Allan Poe
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
  By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea:
But we loved with a love that was more than love—
  I and my ANNABEL LEE;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
  Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
  My beautiful ANNABEL LEE;
So that her highborn kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
  Went envying her and me—
Yes!—that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my ANNABEL LEE.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we—
Of many far wiser than we—
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
  Of the beautiful ANNABEL LEE.

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
  Of the beautiful ANNABEL LEE;
And the stars never rise but I see the bright eyes
  Of the beautiful ANNABEL LEE;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling, my darling, my life and my bride,
In her sepulchre there by the sea—
In her tomb by the side of the sea.
