I am a stranger to you.
I may greetingly nod as we pass;
Or hold a door open as the line lengthens.
Big deal.
But I just want you to know,
You are real, an individual whom I know is worried.
Worried for the children.
Worried for our safety.
Worried for our shared state of affairs.
I know worry doesn't add one minute to our lives,
But not worrying can remove lives.
At the end of it all,
Are you okay?
I sincerely mean it,
Cause I know I'm not okay with all this **** drama,
Being played out... DAILY... HOURLY.
Burrowing into our heads like hungry worms.

You see,
The first evidence we have
Of anything we could quantify
As being akin to surgery
Are fossil records
Of skulls baring marks
Which indicate tool usage.
These marks from simple holes
Driven into these skulls,
Likely made to try & deal with the mind
Or some ailment of the brain.
Thoughts, "evil spirits."

But, one must ask,
"From where did they get these ideas?"

The woodpecker?
The first surgeon?
Spoken by a tree,
"******! Come see! There's pests about me,
But these branches grow outwards only,
Yet inwardly!"

Spoken by a bird,
"Look, tree! The monkeys are walking! I wonder what they're thinking?"

Happiness starts with me
clearing the debris
for all to see
changing the frequency
on internal healing
finding joy in the small things
through hope in believing
fueled by enthusiasm
sparking opportunities
to turn dreams
into realities
creating new memories
protecting our souls harmony
together, with my family
I am I
and only me

When the weight of the world feels heavy,
And shoulders slump beneath its load,
Carrying on becomes an unwanted burden,
Yet resilience demands that we never let go.

Sometimes I dream of laying it all down,
To live and breathe beyond these confines,
To shed the weight of others' expectations,
To find solace, to rest, and unwind.

Even mountains must rest in their valleys,
And oceans retreat before kissing the shore.
Why must I maintain this false rally,
When nature knows the strength of pause?

So let me be both, the warrior and wanderer,
The shelter and storm, the sun and the rain.
Resilience isn't found in constant endurance,
But in knowing when to try again.

Be True to Self,
Have value and wealth,
Be good to your body,
Fresh air and great health.
Take care of your needs,
MOST DEFINITELY!!,
If you Do All of this,
In Life you'll Succeed.
You want to be around,
No time to be down,
Self-care and well-being,
In you, will be found.
Your body is your temple,
It is just that simple,
Consume good things,
Be Light and stay nimble.
You have One Body,
so be One with Yourself,
Continue this Journey, and
Be True to Self!!!

The early garden
brings a deeper peace
than any I have known
no sound but wind on leaves
no neighbours barking dog,
for even he must sleep,
his daily yappings not begun
new air, fresh and clean
whispers soft among the green
a drowsy yawning background hum
a space to sip one’s tea
and taste the morning yet to come
