The river of time flows fast, untold—
Too wild to bend, too narrow to row.
Strange how the past cuts deep in soul,
Yet melts like frost in morning’s glow.

Who sees the shapes beneath the ice?
The lives not lived, the roads not trod?
Are we but echoes, paying the price
For paths we chose—or those we dodged?

Or are we less: just cracks in stone,
A hollow where the dark has grown?
No hell will break—just blood and bone,
Silence, thick as ice below the snow.
This poem is a meditation on memory, regret, and the elusive nature of identity over time. It explores how the past lingers beneath the surface—both haunting and vanishing—like shapes beneath ice. Through stark winter imagery and restrained lyricism, the speaker questions whether we are shaped by the choices we made, the ones we fled, or by something colder and more impersonal: silence, entropy, and time itself.
Something in me always waited
without knowing what for.
A quiet space, a missing piece,
like a song I half-remembered
but never heard before.

Then you came,
like sunlight sneaking into a closed room,
like warmth I didn’t know I’d missed
until I felt it on my skin.

You touched thoughts I’d never spoken.
You woke up parts of me I didn’t even know were asleep.
You didn’t arrive… you were always there,
like a voice behind my voice,
a feeling in my breath.

So stay close.
Because when you’re not near,
I feel myself searching
not for someone else,
but for the part of me
that only exists with you.
Lucky is the one who meets their matching other half, the one who feels like home in a world of strangers. Not everyone gets that kind of alignment, where two souls fit without force. When it happens, it’s nothing short of sacred.
In the dusty haze of a late summer night

The cool breeze of air twirls and
Hums happily with a glamorous lady

As they dance around and around
An aura of shimmer blooms ~

Casting a shadow of radiance—
On the darkening eyes of the night sky

As they sing on and on
A million of sparkling stars brimming over
Creating blissful sounds all around

Filling every angle of the night ~

The dying branches of the willow tree
Become alive once again

The arid soil of the land becomes greener
With sprouting leaves and flowers

The melody of the night brings salvation
To the spirits of the night forest

Till the king of the sun rises—
They danced, sang, and chatted ~

Relishing every moment, every second,
Every minute, every hour they possess

As the prince of the dawn seeks them
They shared a devoted kiss at the last minute

Exchanging hugs for the final time ~

With smiles on their faces
They bid farewell to each other
Until the warmth embraces the world

Once more ~ ~
Once more ~ ~

Pitter patter
Rain comes down
Spitter spatter
Face with frown

Wet crunching
Under feet
Dreary people
Walk in street

Not
Me

Rain comes down
Air is clear
Family in town
Winter here

Outside cold
Warmth is sweet
Chocolate hot
Marshmellows eat
Warmth elongating
sunlight persisting
We seeping in the brilliance
Swimming pools
are covered up
but the mood lingering
around the greeneries
and the falling leaves
All warmth is welcome!

As my world is engulfed in flames
Do you still burn for me?
Raging fires, roaring so loudly
Do you still feel me, hear me?
As my heart burns for you
As my love erupts
Do you not see my passion?

Or am I doomed to be a waste?
All that heat and passion and love
An explosion of emotions, searing my skies
Do I not light you up?
Ashes upon ashes, dying to embers
Do you not want my warmth?

Burned out, cinders and gray
All those feelings and connections
Did it disappear like smoke?
What was once lit now smoldered
What was once passion is now blackened
Was our fire ever real?
Or was I the only one burned?

It was dark in cave,
the air felt cold—inside out.

He held her
as if she were glass,
a lamb
in the arms
of a wolf midnight.

Outside
the sky wept,
but inside us
a flower bloomed—
in April.
I turned 18 today! Ahhhhhhh, happy birthday to me!! Thank you all so much for the love and support. I still can’t believe I’m 18 now. I’ve been ill for a few days, so this birthday hasn’t been the most enjoyable. On top of that, I’ve been caught up with academics too. I’m really thankful for everything I have, but I also want to keep improving and become a better version of myself. I have the best family ever, couldn’t ask for anything better, tbh.

of ambrosia made mother sung
the phosphorus beat of snug lure

Amidst the daisies,
all I could see,
was you.

Just us alone,
beneath blue sky.

You beside me, eyes closed,
wind tracing its fingers
through your hair,
bathed in sunlight,
your soft smile lingering.

Oh, how I envy them—
for giving you a peace
I can only dream of.
If only she could be....

Established landmarks removed test the fates
Burning wind in a vacant sky
Rearranged cosmic hemispheres of mind
Oracle of day not seen with naked eye

The need for warmth a thing of the past
Frigid waters the basis of new-fangled cell
Tortured derelicts kept from spiritual vision
Oracle of night hangs in day’s empty shell

Dubious means to generate a sun of artificial light
But a fling cannot replace a love that is shunned
Yet warm rays of sunlight still flow above the temporal
Still hanging in defiance of the 60 cycle hum

Regain your bearings oh heart of true light
Everything in its place: oracle of day and oracle of night.
