We’ll hitchhike to mars
on a rocket not a car,
so say your au revoirs.

We’ll steer towards Polaris, the north star
right through the center of the milky-way-bar.
See, the universe is dark and chocolatey.

Stars that glitter like multi-faceted gems,
are just shiny, yellow, peanut M&Ms,
take a handful, if you’d like, they’re free.

We’ll dodge the silhouetted moon,
which is made of enough coconut macaroon,
to make a French confectioner swoon.

As we go streaking, like a comet’s tail,
drag a finger through Saturn’s rings as well,
those are made of marshmallow.

We’ll  pass nebulae made of cotton-kandi,
and here’s a fact Einstein would have found handy,
the speed of light doesn’t apply to candy.

Ramble on by Toni Jevicky
If there was a lasso
Big enough to reign the stars
I’d hand you these diamonds
Painted in your twilit skies,
We could create a galaxy,
Our love so planetary,
Shapes of clouds temporary
Could never articulate in artistry
The way you move so heavenly.

We could cry together,
Rain down on the meadows,
Fill these riverbeds with all our sorrows
So we can see it create life again.

We could smile brightly,
Casting light to chase the shadows
Bloom these vibrant colors
Feed the verdant grasslands
While we touch down on hilltops,
Knowing it’s just a slippery ***** from here.

Even if it ends,
Like apotheosis crashing down,
A calamity to rip our heart back into two,
When everything is a Goya painting
Crude and dark without hope or meaning,
When we collide like marbles,
I’d still hand you the diamonds in your twilit skies.
I’d cry for you to fill your riverbeds,
And paint by numbers on your gardens.

Simply simplistic,
Simping like a simpleton
Hoping you see the flowers I grow
Are a color wave symphony,
I sing to you in silence,
I write to you with brush strokes,
Hoping you catch my thoughts
Like a medium, do you read me like a meteor?
Striking quickly over your horizon?

I’ll bring you a bouquet—
Of diamonds in your twilit skies.
I think this one is self explanatory, but my meaning doesn’t have to be your meaning, please tell me e what you interpret 🙂
Ancient empires echo hear,
In deep space,
The sounds of far history,
Bleeds in near.

Energy traces from long ago,
Microwaves left from genesis,
Far in the star sea lies a trail to God,
Or an omen of future death.
In space we can still record ancient microwaves left from the big bang, they seeming warp and corrode time. They may even be the final resource we to achieve time travel!
There once was a gorkik from Venus
Named Xaliphskon Yxzalon Zenus
     Who made a gray baby,
     A cute little grayby,
By mating a zhpart with a squenus.

The silver sky cries and cries
As we lay atop a hill
The wetness piercing through our clothes
Violet sparks shimmer in the distance

A violent affair
Yet not a care

Its tears shield us from a cruel world
And as we cozy on a cushion of emerald blades
The wind sings songs of ancient wisdom
Our shared serenity illuminated by the fire in the sky

A newfound bliss in the vastness of this universe
Unfathomable nothingness beyond us
A spark of light in the endless abyss

And yet…

Of all the planets
Of all the space
Of all time

There’s no place I’d rather be
Than with you
Under the silver sky…

If I could pull the threads,
that stitched the universe, together...
If I could slip between the tracks,
and barricade myself,
between buoyant clusters, of atoms
would you take note of my absence?
Would you remember I existed?
Would you even register,
the loss of me?
Or would I become as distant,
and extraterrestrial to you,
as a forgotten galaxy,
would you recall little more, than
terra firma, beneath your feet,
and never notice
that there's a hole
in the weeping glass dome,
above you?

When we're together I feel as light as Feather

The adventures we share are like something from a Book, who knows where we'll go, do we dare to look.

To speak true it involves Heart, but looking back on it now, where to begin, how to start.

The Wind it comes, she is strong, she is fierce, into my soul her eye doth pierce.

The Weather it changes day by day, but my feelings for you will never sway.

Regenerative,
My little sea star,
Your vast tide pool home
Shows you beauty of
The sun, so distant,
Yet so warm.

Extraordinary,
My little dreamer,
Your thoughts of the sky
Show you glorious
Relatives, bright stars,
Your namesake.
