I don't think a single thing could bring me down from my high.
The rush of learning, I'm going to be seen!
Published
Known
Sure only a select few may even care,
But I do.
That's what matters to me.
I'm going to be a published writer in "A celebration of poets!"
my poem, "What makes a poet?" made it in! i havent felt this rush in a long time :)
A voice like church bells ringing
Warm as the setting sun
And twice as comforting

Laughter like a spell
That demands a smile
Even when I feel like hell

Kindness of a heart ever bleeding
Even in dreams
She hastens my hearts very beating

I wonder if she knows
She positively glows
At least to me
It's dark but it won't stay this way
When a broken heart releases some of the pain
With a goodbye to yesterday
And a welcomed smile for today

It is like a burst of song
Knowing tomorrow may never come
A moment where night becomes day
To focus on life again.

Let's be grateful for that one moment today which made us smile.
I laughed a lot today, too. I appreciate this because I know it doesn't happen daily. And I also particularly appreciate when I smile to myself about a detail or thought nobody else would notice. 😊

She probably had a smile, indeed, I unzipped her body bag.
Yet, she never once smiled alive.
However, she loved saying, “I thought about smiling; maybe someday?”
Smoothly blossoming
Images you dreamt about
Now discover new meaning
Delving into symbols
Within the recesses
Chariots towering cathedrals
Spiralling atop the citadel
For colossal mountains
To emerge out the slumbers
Which had captivated
Drifting into languor
Feasting upon grandeur
Eating away at your desires
Required a wake up call
Dreaming and forgetting
Remembering then neglecting
Embracing because important
The flowers which had inspired
Had budded couched requirements
To brave the fallow time
As the land prepares for summer
When the gardeners rejoice
Having kept calmly entwined
With the overgrown and rotting
For something magnificent

Faking a smile,
Is so much easier,
Then explaining,
Why your sad...

Smile, smile , smile hey human,
Not just because the world expects it .

Smile because,
Your soul needs it ,
Your heart needs it ,
Your mind needs it,
Your victory needs  it ,
Your dreams need it,
Your love needs it,
Your courage needs it ,
Your strength needs it ,
Your journey needs it ,
Your fears need it ,
Your tears need it ,
Your healings need it ,
Your failures need it.

Hey human, don't  let your precious smile fade.
Smile, smile , smile, hey human,
Because your happiness lies  within you.
Smile , smile, smile, hey human

As I sit, breathing in the silence, soft light sneaks through the windows. Feels like peace, just for a second— Until that smile.

Not mine, but there, right in the mirror, lingering for too long, almost unnatural, curving in a way my lips never could done. My chest tightens—I laugh, nervously. It's nothing, I tell myself. Just my imagination, right?

But as I turn away, something pulls at the back of my mind, whispering—or maybe just a silence too loud, like waiting for a scream that never comes.

I glance back— And my reflection, staring hard. It blinks when I don't. Cold hands, shaky breath, I reach for the glass—it doesn't feel right, doesn't feel like glass.

"Is that me?" I whisper, leaning closer— And then, just like that, I wake up.

Was it a dream? Feels real, though. I sit again, breathing in the silence, light sneaking softly through my windows. Feels like peace.
A nightmare that just cycles itself endlessly. Like a story that starts with the feeling of peace before the horror begins.
