Seeing the first dew drops
Upon the grass they collect,
Momentary do they gather
Mesmerised of rising shimmers.
Enveloped with in mornings breath
Remembered faintly they fade.

Within there short-lived collections
Iridescent gathering shimmers.
Showing the candle of light within,
Hues burning brighter than a candle.
beams of golden shine
rippled atop the creek's trace
glowing in shimmer

Sparkling outside's so light
shimmering delight
thickened darkness
so sludge like
deathly hallows above
pitch black  inside so much darker
Forever into the shadowy abyss
Into this world
of ancient earthen homes
heated by fragrant native wood
comes gentle and silent snow.

Within the delicate fibers
of this newly formed heart
one tapestry is being woven.

Its indeterminate colors
barely visible, shimmer.

Longing, and loving
one presence, dancing closely
finding balance and resolution
in this sound, in this knowing
in shraddha.

On her breast, my lover wears
a necklace of abalone shell.
Iridescent, it shimmers
in the light of day
scintillating and luminous,
a whirl of colors, radiant as her face
shining in my heart when she is gone.

Hmm...
Poetry Mar 2015
Rays of streaming light,
Heat bouncing off ocean waves.
Blue water shimmers.

In the heart of the night
I wonder if you’re looking
Up at the same stars as I am.

I picture a cool breeze
Blowing through your hair,
The tall grass swaying to and fro.

The lights of your eyes
Twinkling in brilliance
As the stars shimmer bright

I imagine you gazing
Up at the moon
Wondering if I’m doing the same

Another night apart
Staring up at the same sky
sun stars moons Nov 2014
emerging from this bottomless darkness
I can see the rays of light just yonder
stretching the furthest stretch my arms will allow
grasping for anything lighter than black
hues of dimness or even a hint of shimmer
get me out of this dark I've been living in
let me see the light, let me in.
