A hush upon the water’s crest,
where morning spills in golden rest,
a figure drifts in light’s embrace—
a dancer poised in fluid grace.

She bends, she sways, a feathered sigh,
her alabaster wings comply,
each ripple waltzes at her feet,
as if the lake and she compete.

No step misplaced, no hurried flight,
she moves as if she weighs but light,
a whisper in the dawn’s repose,
where every motion softly flows.

Yet in the dusk where moonlight wanes,
another shadow breaks the chains.
A glint of coal, a sharpened glide,
a phantom in the silver tide.

Her beauty sings a darker song,
a wilder pulse, both fierce and strong.
No fragile twirl, no measured bow—
she rules the water, here and now.

She cuts the lake with silent power,
the night bends low, the stars turn sour.
A haunting echo in her wake—
a ghost of grace, a breath to take.

One swan to soothe, one swan to strike,
one day, one night, both wrong, both right.
Two echoes spun from fates untold—
one draped in white, one cloaked in gold.
Drown all drunk in peace so deep,
Where silence sings and angels sleep.
Let joy's wild fire gently fade,
And calm, like rivers, softly invade.

Let the stars fall, not in haste,
But bathed in peace, a sacred taste.
O' Cup Bearer come, with gentle hand,
To still the soul, and make it stand.

The moon shall dim its glowing light,
And rest in peace through endless night.
Make the mountains bow with grace,
Their peaks a reflection of Heaven’s face.

Let winds, once fierce, now whisper clear,
A song of peace for all to hear.
Drown the oceans, once wild and loud,
In waves of stillness, soft and proud.

Let the tides of chaos cease to rise,
And peace descend from distant skies.
Let hearts, once wild, now find their rest,
In the quiet calm that fills the chest.

O' Cup Bearer pour, with tender care,
A liquid peace beyond compare.
Let souls, intoxicated by bliss,
Find their peace in the endless abyss.

Drown the creation in tranquil sound,
Where silence reigns, and love is found.
In the depths of peace, let all be free,
Drunk on calm, in eternity.

Drown all drunk in peace so pure,
A solace deep, forever sure.
In stillness, let the world be swept,
A moment of peace where none is kept.

Calm night,
serene beauty,
fireflies dance,
the wind caresses the lily.

A ray of moonlight,
kisses a drop of river,
it glows,
summon the fairies.
River water shining under the moonlight....

In the tranquil woods,
I wander,
each tree a thought,
each breeze a lesson.

Remind me,
in every pathway,
I am part of it all,
in this art,
called life.
"Everything happens for a reason, good or bad."
And after watching (a lotttt of times) and analyzing Avengers: Endgame, I believe that they are very right, lol.

The wind hums low, the rivers sing,
The flowers bow, the branches swing.
The sky, a canvas brushed with light,
A masterpiece both bold and bright.

The rolling hills, the ocean’s breath,
The whispers held in silent depth.
Oh, how the world forever sways—
A song of life in endless praise.

Beneath the stars, beneath the trees,
A quiet peace, a flowing ease.
The earth hums soft, a lullaby,
A love that never says goodbye.
10. The Wonder of Nature

she brings the rain, soft and slow,
a hush of silver, a gentle glow.
yes, i care for springtime bright,
but care for nothing in her light.

she brings the rain, the world turns grey,
yet melts the clouds, she clears the way.
in dawn’s embrace, so cool, so wide,
she brings the rain, i stand inside.
inspired by a song i heard in the show euphoria

In the "loneliness",
I find connection.
In the "boredom",
I find fulfillment.
In the "silence",
I find serenity.

Why aren't you at peace?

Sunset kisses,
the ocean’s skin.
Orange light cradles,
in the waves' arms.
And the sky’s darkness,
finds a home,
in the ocean's heart.
Wish to see it someday, in reality....
In this life, I have had my struggles—
Mankind’s abuse, intolerance, wars, and corruption.
And no different were the personal aspects:
love, home, happiness—
All fleeting, no peace, within or external.

Then, I found you.

At first, I sought tranquility
An ear to bend, a friendship perhaps.
Yet, you needed serenity, a peace within.
So, it was I who lent the ear, the shoulder, the words of understanding.

In this endeavor, I saw in you a trampled blossom—
Damaged, bent, a bit broken, but not a loss.
You just needed someone, anyone, to care,
To show you the light through the dark.

So, I listened, I nurtured,
Shown light, provided warmth,
Fed you, and caressed the soil with tears,
Until you felt whole again.

To be clear, I didn’t fix you;
I didn’t mold you.
You were whole, you were full of worth.
I only let you see what I see in you.

In turn, you saw me, as I saw you—
Someone discarded on the refuse of life.
Imparted, nay, reciprocated, the kindness you had received,
Knowing that I, like you, lay scarred and injured, but not a loss.

Tranquility and Serenity
Words often interchanged,
But both have meanings that aren’t quite the same.
For one is peace in your surroundings, and the other is peace from within.

You cannot seek one
Without discovering and embracing the other.
Two sides of the same coin, like Yin and Yang,
Always seeking balance.

You guided me,
Lighting my way through the darkest moments.
I held steadfast, unwavering—the rock you needed,
A new foundation to build upon.

I confess this truth to you,
As you have given both, reciprocal,
As I have given unto you.

Time will tell.
This story has not ended.
It is still being written—
A journey to destinations unknown.

And all because,
I FOUND YOU.
I see too often these words used where it should be one versus the other.
And then I reflected upon my own relationship.
I struggle, as do most.  I seek the balance, the peace, both inner and external.

Tao as an augmentation to my Catholic upbringing allows me to seek the peace I desire.  Nothing is right, nothing is wrong; search all permutations, and where there is balance, there is peace, where there is peace, there is truth.
