'To **** A Mockingbird' is a very controversial book,
It boasts certain values that no modern day book should,
At least that's what I understand,
Having not read the book through.

But this is a common literary problem,
Even more prominent than genre prejudice,
Which we all know,
Or judging the book by its cover,
An even more common cliche within literary review.

It's people writing reader's guides and summaries,
Based off of common ideas and ideals taken from the tale,
Carefully penning their slander towards each story,
Without gracing or gazing a single one of its pages.
Today is the start of my English class's, "To **** A Mockingbird," unit. This is based off that and flavored with some of the things we discussed about it in class. Bound together with a reflection on common literary review problems.
after looking in on how
Jen's selections were faring
they indicated that they'd
be very nicely squaring

was pleasing to see
most of them reaching
the front cover's face
only the odd one
was put in another
compartment's space

it so gladdened Jen
when her options
got colossal views
she has a consistency
in this area which make
for better reviews

those pieces she's
given a re-showing
are set to be bathed
with a bright glowing

oh yes dear Jen
can't be beat
on choosing
something real neat
Ruby's ravishing rock
received many rave reviews
was of richest red

Very gripping work of fiction, partly inspired by the authors own heroic journey of survival and triumph. Extremely well written. Real, yet creative.

It deserves more than 5 stars!
The story ends with two messages perfectly conveyed.
1. Don't waste your time in search of love while you are studying.
2. The current caste-based reservation system in India is flawed.

I can't disagree here.

What a magician Atul is! Such romance, poetry, love, heartbreak, action and what not!

Surely a class apart than most popular novelists!
Thanks for the compliments, dear Kalpana Arora.
