slackin'
lazy
laughin'
seeing unicorns,
imagination happens,
I'm sayin'
what's happenin',
slang is impressive to the average,
I was callin' just to see if you would like
to hear my piece,
at the mercy of Jesus piece,
stay at peace,
all we want is love and...
well you get that gist,
was hopin' you'd listen to this,
important things are hard to comprehend,
unless your ******,
your cousin just had a baby,
haven't seen Kyle lately,
and Mack says a state I.d is really hard to get,
so when you wanna judge this,
take a good look in the mirror,
just replay this message,
it'll become a bit clearer.
Words of wisdom

All this here
Has torn the curtains Of her mind.
In this,
The glass is broken,  floors warped.
Distorted flashes plague my mind.
And Disfigured illusions play like a movie screen In the inner lids of my eyes.
I key the lock To my inner most thoughts
Only to find my sanity is at stake,
Nearly lost.
I tremble at my being dangling on a single thread
Oh my!
What terror!
Have I truly lost my head?
I am only escaped to tell thee
Archaic words
A literature of trust...

I replay you like my favourite song;
over and over
waiting for a change in lyrics
in tune, in tempo-
over and over.
I know all the words,
have grown accustomed and even tired.
Yet, there's no way I could ever hit Stop.

over and over
waiting and waiting
over and over
I begin to mouth the words as you sing them.
I can't be sure whether it is mocking or familiar
but it's something I know.

I replay you like my favourite song;
over and over
high and low
volume does not matter for I already know.

It begins to lose significance
I sleep and wake to your same song;
over and over
lower and lower
And before I notice, it is gone.
The song I knew so well, I can no longer find.

We move to the next song,
to the next listener-
and we commence all over.

At 8 pm I'm in my room just quite alone
I am strumming Bob Marley reggae
And in my head I paint a painting on the wall
A man is driving on a highway
It looks the same, it is on replay

I feel quite warm when thinking replay of a kiss
A kiss a boy can only give away
But when I try, the time moves on, though I resist
When do I start, I need a new day
It's not the same it's not on replay

The man drives on and on but finally he stops
He meets a woman in a driveway
They're driving fast, at last their got stopped by the cops
Their love are strongest on the highway
They'll always wish this day on replay

I clearly see his eyes, reflecting his in mine
Though it sounds kind of like a cliche
I confidently said "we don't have to define"
But lately it feels like a dismay
I really need that day on replay

At 8 pm I'm in my room just quite alone
I am strumming Bob Marley reggae
And in my head I paint a painting on the wall
A man is driving on a highway
It looks the same, it is on replay

When people say
"music is life"
it makes sense
we allow our memories to live
within the music we listen to
so when we have a song on repeat
we're actually replaying the memories
over
and
over
again
so we will never forget
all the wonderful times
or the horrible, sad ones
