saw her sitting on a bench,
while reading "voyage au bout de la nuit",
a cigarette between her tooth gap
framed by red lipstick,
a bottle of wine next to her,
quietly humming a melody,
her hair wilder than a man's dream,
her fragrance Chanel N°5,
the look in her eyes were longing for the saving shore,
it was raining but she didn't even care,
and so I knew

Noches frías y lluviosas,
El sonido de la lluvia mi compañía,
Mi cabeza ruidosa,
Confusiones de agonía

Day 1
it's raining in my room.
it drips from the ceiling
onto my bed
onto my floor

Day 2
it's beginning to flood, soon I'll have no air
the rain won't ever stop
it's like he never cared.
I must turn my desk into a raft,
just to survive.

Day 12
The water is everywhere
I'm close to the ceiling now
and soon I'll drown.
I'm hungry and cold
but the rain doesn't want to stop

Day 15
i know i won't make it through
the night
it's still raining
it's still pouring
there's a hole in my raft
and it's sinking
and i'm still thinking
about you.

When it was midnight and
   we had nowhere to go.

When it was sunshine and
  we had nothing to show.

When it was raining
  we were down in pool.

When it was winter
we were too cool to be cool.

When in May
  we finally found the shelter.

When in December
  we lost another member.

When finally things went well
  we saw another loss.

When things went south
  we took another toss.

When sun rose again
  we didn't trust its light.

When the night spread
  we lived in its moonlight.

I am standing in a field
I am watching everything I love
And everything  I desire
Circle around me.
It is raining
You are standing in front of me
I am reaching for you but I cannot move
I am calling for you but I cannot speak
I am looking at you but you are looking past me
Your eyes are glazed over
Your fingers are fidgeting
The edges of your mouth are quivering
And you are looking past me,
At her.
The memories of us ache through my bones
I am falling
I am drowning
I am spinning
I am standing in a field
I am watching everything I love and desire crumble before me
And I cannot move.

Some people feel down and say...
"Why does it always rain on me?"
But why does that mean something bad?
Think of all that rain can be...

Without rain, there'd be no flowers...
No snow or forests of trees.
It quenches the thirst of everyone...
Even the birds and the bees.

Plants, animals, you and me...
We are all dependent on rain.
So if sometimes it pours down on us...
Let's not think of it as a pain!

Life sometimes gets us down...
But take the good with the bad.
After all, without a little rain...
There is no rainbow to be had!

Look into mine eyes
tell me what thou see

I see a prison, a soul
with hopes of escaping

I see padded walls
with a crazed man aching

I see deep sorrow
a human breaking

I see a gray sky
always raining

I see a husk of skin
eternally forsaking

I see a chasm
forever isolating

I see a mind
always creating
and hating
thy creation

I gazed upon thine eyes
and I saw hell in thy pupils

The pile of books
The array of papers
They long-await
that ink will pour
on their vacuous
void of emptiness
For the deadline
draws near
Yet I'm still here
Sitting on my windowsill
Lackadaisically waiting
Certainly expecting
For water to descend
From the firmament
surrounded by dullness
where a mass of clouds
are there to be seen

If I looked upon the dark sky
Would stars spell out my name?
Would the moon smile down on me
Knowing my shame?
How could night not understand
The type of person I might be?
If the sun knows pain I've caused
How come it still rises for me?

CHORUS:
Its raining outside
Falling to the ground
Searching for a part of me
That's nowhere to be found.
Its raining on the inside
I cannot sleep at all
I know there's a way over
This million-mile wall.

Rain would never love me
If it saw all my lies
Pollution spreading out of me
Poisoning the skies
Storms would fury over me
Rage set in their hearts
Its always people I love
I I end up tearing apart

CHORUS

Trying to get off my knees
Locked deep within memories
Though I'm broken by guilt and pain
The world still turns just the same .
I wrote this at bible camp when i was working there at the sweet age of 15 haha
