In a sea of umbrellas,
          There are waves of people,
Collecting the little ones
              rippling through puddles.

With wellie boots on,
              making a splash
As raindrops tickle
              Their noses.

The most ardent kiss which the asphalt will ever know
Is when mother nature bows her head
    Purses her clouded cotton lips
And gently drops a trillion kisses on a square stretch of highway
Until they puddle up in joyful memory
And the autobahn is lost in a contented, smitten, bliss

I wish I was a rain drop,
There's never a same stop.
I would always be together,
There will always be a space to gather.

I was swollen in
  the whirlpool of coffee

                           hangovers.

Tsunamis of headache
                                  neglects.

But when the waves of coffee beans
               collected on my shores

I trod upon them, crushed and slowly
                               roasted under repeated waves.

And then they washed over me,
                            caffeine drops falling
               like rain on my senses.

When I was drenched,
                      calmness fell upon my mind,
And I was myself once again.

darkened sky rumbles
lightning strikes flashes deep
steady blue raindrops falling

rain sprung,
as bells clang,
leaves withered,
as my skin felt the chill,
from the winds that pass by a river.

as i contemplate through my thoughts,
my mind crumpled like paper that is tossed,
and raindrops started falling, bit by bit,
second by second,
'till a violent rain came and rushed in without any doubt.

life has been violent,
problems never stopped,
failures were inevitable,
and that perspective has been my rain.

the rain that does'nt really go away,
but a rain that stays,
forever never measured that time it'll be with me,
but that rain is such a wonderful medley,
without it i may not be visible,
change can also not be feasible.

but there will come a time,
a sunshine will bring light,
and as that happens,
the raindrops will be a reminder,
that the sun never left your side.

We live on the ripples of a beating heart
Sailing wide across a great black sea
Each pulses like falling raindrops
As we drift on the surface of destiny

We know the struggles and the storms to come
Foundations the turmoils of passing winds
Are scattering on our way towards the sun
Were raised by none but the breathe of our will

We become landscapes the further we are drawn
Cold mountains, dense forests, oceans and such,
On our carved existence all promise to be found
As we roam from mood to mood and thought to thought

We understand at last what the touch reconciles
When we start to realize what we had always known
That the world was always ours, and it dawns on our mind
That the rainfall had stopped while we’d landed home

Let me just lay here
and count the raindrops
they remind me of tears
that never stopped
running down the window pane
why do we run if we've already lost?
I've never felt that much pain
or paid a higher cost
to loose a love like a missing sock
now I'm oddly paired
and out of luck
oh how I despaired
and buried my head
hoping the wind would carry the sand
no longer to be wed
no reason to wear the band
a reminder cast in solid gold
a useless trinket
an empty hole
a broken promise
has passed her lips
no granted wish
will ever be his
all that's left is an odd sock
and a broken heart
is what she took.
