Let he be merciful to those who sin,
the Protector to whom I swore thus.
Let her bless with light my kin,
the Mother who always protects us.
Life God, who defends my being
and watched over me,
Death Lord, the accompanying king,
I always proudly welcome thee.
For I pledge my life to you miserably,
though, I do it unconditionally.
"Is our faith real?" Poem I actually did for a purpose but liked enough to post it here.

I nestle in the room of your heart
I will rise again and again
You are my protector
My swollen eyes create many tears
My mind forms many fears
You coax them out of my soul
and burn them to dust
You have wise eyes open for me
A smile that grasps my heart
Beauty that flowers and blossoms
In your garden I take in all you have shown me

sorrow a mind as long as you want
happiness a place to be if you want
i choose the dark side
long ago i made a decision
happy face or sad face
my choice,, sad face. if
only i had the protector anger
to back it up
i'm working on it.
don't tread on me.

You are a solider,
The war of my life is at a cease,
Its the stillest moment I've ever lived,
Because you are my solider,
You are a protector,
The wreck of others is trashed,
You know the right words to say,
Fixed my heart when it's mashed,
For that I adore you,
Aegis,
You absorb the bad,
Dispense the good,
You are knocked down,
You get back up and walk,
You are hurt,
You are pain,
You are love,
You are joy,
You're my Aegis,
Many try to mock,
Many try to ruin,
Many tried to fix,
Aegis
God walks in your walk,
God shines in your smile,
God moves in your spirit,
God talks through your voice,
Aegis,
If you want to see the beauty,
I'd advise you to look closer,
It's not what you think it is,
It's what I see, I'm a boaster,
I am proud,
I have pride,
I have the greatest mother Alive,
And I just want the world to know you're beautiful,
Go ahead,
Seek and you shall find,
It's not in the weight,
Or the size of your behind,
You'll find it in the bathroom,
On an item that reflects,
My Aegis look in the mirror,
And tell me what you see,
When you see yourself,
Smile and let your light gleam !

Just a day more
Just one more day.
Until the next moon appears in this dark hole
--in this black line.
Stay with me
and keep me safe.

All the monsters come out when I'm alone.
So now that you're here,
stay with me
and keep me safe.

Just one more day.
Until the next moon appears in this dark hole
--in this black line.

You were meant to be there
Be there when I was little
When I was a teenager
Even when I became an adult.

I know you were there
But it didn't stop the bad things
The bad things from happening
I needed you to protect me

I shouldn't blame you
I know that everyday
I just wanted you to fight
I needed to hear you fight

You were my protector
At least my very first
You'll never not be
The one that I call

I just wanted to know
That you would be there
When your little girl falls
Always  there to catch her

Don't worry I've learnt
You can't always protect me
But you will always be
My dad.
As your weary frame shudders,
as your bones quiver
at the resounding echo
of the wailing wind blowing
your spirits with the leaves of
an unforgotten winter,
encompassing
the familiar loneliness that
outshines bliss.

And when the days are
overshadowed by your fears
and the shoals of the ocean waves
crushes your soul against
the condescending
cluster of rocks
cloaked with
your hopes
and your dreams.

I will carve my heart out
for you.
I will build a home in
it's place,
to protect you.
And set myself on fire
to keep you warm.
I'll stitch a happy smile
on my face even when
you & I are drenched
in our tears.

The rose wept
bitter tears
                        when the thorn
pricked hard
the eager fingers
that plucked her
from the bush,
She imagined it was
her lover's.
                  Most upset
                  she kissed
                           oozing
                                    drops
                                        of blood
                                                  dry,
and wept,
not realizing
the thorn's anger
was directed
to the  irresponsible
aggressor, who has
only selfish motives.
The thorn meant to protect her,
while trying in vein to hold back his
tears that, for others looked like
                                                   dew
                                                      drops
                                                        gleaming
                                                                 in pain.

Once snatched from the lap of the bush
she  hardly would last a day or two,
then  would be left to rot
                                         turn to dust
                                                 and vanish
                                                     in a rowdy wind.
Waiting
on the front porch
going through
the newspaper,
sipping on green tea.

My heart
is looking out
into the distance
in search of
the shadow of you.

GOD
I admit I'm not perfect,
but you're still here with me to protect
No words can explain,
the happiness I gain
With you I'm feeling blessed,
'cause you're trully the best.
