And I'm thinking of you -
while studying maths -
I wanna say hi,
but it will just make things harder to bear,
as I realise you've finally moved on...

And well,
*I haven't.
It's fine, it'll take time to erase her name from my heart - but I have to try, for I made the choice...And I have to deal with the consequences :3

I love maths
it proves that we were
just another mish mash
of geometric nonsense
refusing to accept
that you were a square
and that I was a circle
and that organic movements
do not match
with corners
and straight lines
Unlike you I **** at maths so I'll never understand

What exactly am I supossed to write now?
I actually decided on the title before figuring out what to say.

just seen a youtube video on the subject
it completely changed my life... again

metaphors about closed curves or loops don't come to mind
but maybe I shouldn't stress too much about the title
what if I simply forget about it, push it away?

but it's right there...
at the back of my head
after every line I write my eyes pop back to that title
I just did it again.

I can't decide if I should include a 'the'.
'a mobius strip' also doesn't satisfy me.
Mobius strips never satisfy me.

It's easy to give up, isn't it?
another fix. then they keep trying to drag me out
telling me I'm addicted to it,
that I should join a Mobius strip rehab center
but I can quit
whenever I want
I promise

A helix to the perfect degree,
An answer to the mathematician's plea,
An x for when  y was in need,
Swirling logic - majestic and infinite
Whilst 90°.

One plus one make two ...                                                                                       Maths is not just numbers or theories, but                                                              It's a great mind and more ...                                                                                  It was a problem to me                                                                                            To solve a problem                                                                                                    When I was a student ...                                                                                          Later on I loved maths ,but                                                                                     I'm still not able to solve some problems ...

My new CD case is broken

It happened on  Friday; post maths
I opened the case, reached for the disk  and...
It broke.

I wept for seconds.
It was not even a month old
(Got at Christmas)
And yet, before my eyes,
It was destroyed

I was only allowed weep for a bit
After all, there was Stuff to do: Maths Irish French
And the cd was still there, right ?

Why do things break?
They need to, sure but why not
Slowly..
So that we may have time
Before the Brush Up
of our
Present Days

We come from two different worlds yet we're close.
We're like parallel lines.
We are equidistant from one another and we'll never meet, but for some reason we're headed in the same direction.

Why can't we be perpendicular lines?
Why can't we meet and create a 90 degree angle?
Is it fates way of saying we can never meet?

The mathematical theory can always be related with the psychological one when it comes to relationships or our own issues with ourselves.
We can never be because we're not meant to meet.
We're headed in the same direction but the space in between is two negative magnets keeping us at a distance, hence we fight to be close only to be pushing ourselves further away but always equidistant one another till we eventually agree.
We are parallel lines.

However what we refused to wait on is the second Mathematical theory on Parallel and Perpendicular line.
We can somewhat change a parallel line to a perpendicular one just by rotating a line 90 degrees. This in a psychological manner means that no matter how pessimistic a relationship feels, how depressed we are, how alone we feel, with one change we can create a 90 degree angle of happiness.
It's true though. Math Geek

Heart pounding. Inside dying.
Head swirling- you feel like crying!
It's tough & Crazy.
Leaves everything Hazy.
The rule of maths- that ugly frog,
If it seems easy, you're doing it wrong.

Cursing, slamming, worse than drowning!
Like wounded animals, crazily howling!
The hell is this?! The hell is that?!
Someone kiss my head with a bat!
Tougher than keeping track of ping pong
If it seems easy- you're doing it wrong.
One thing to know about me is, I DESPISE Maths. Despise. Not hate. So, yeah, enjoy my shortest poem and let me know what you think!
Waiting on the other side
Of an equal sign.
An equation left
Unsolved.

I'm supposed to be a sum
Her + Me = Eternity
Yet I'm still waiting
To be solved.

Left in a textbook,
Unnoticed and unloved.
Trying to ignore the groans,
The glares, the words.

Jotted down repeatedly,
Still no one sees,
I want out,
I want a life.

Forever hoping and believing
That my real question will be answered.
I'm left as a problem,
Impossible to solve.

I lay on this piece of paper,
Eager to know,
If I'm true,
Or hopelessly false.

So I'm waiting on the other side
Of an equal sign.
And equation left
I solved.

I'm sitting and wondering
If there's anyone home.
Yes.

I can even make maths depressing.
