No Room to Fall

There’s no room to fall when you’re called a man,
You must rise each time, no matter the plan.
You slip, you fail, you bruise your pride—
But strength, they say, must never hide.

You stumble once, they watch you close,
And label you what hurts the most.
One lost job, one broken dream—
You’re lazy now, or so they deem.

No space to doubt, no time to rest,
You’re expected always to give your best.
And if your knees begin to shake,
They’ll ask what shortcut you might take.

No margin granted, no grace applied,
Just pressure mounting deep inside.
You fake a smile, suppress the fears,
And build a dam to hold back tears.

For women fall and find a hand,
But men must rise and always stand.
“Be a rock,” they say, “be the wall,”
But rocks can crack—and walls can fall.

So you wear the armor, cold and thin,
While dying slow beneath your skin.
And heaven weeps where man won't speak—
His pain dismissed, his soul turned weak.

But there’s a Rock who knows it all,
Who sees the slips, who broke the fall.
Who knelt inside a garden’s cry,
And bore our burdens just to die.

So fall, dear man, but fall in grace.
Let God rebuild the hollow place.
The world won’t catch what it won’t see,
But Christ still whispers, “Lean on Me.”

Wrapped in my warmest wool blanket,
coldness resides in my veins.
My body aches for your embrace,
to revel in warm memories.
It was just a one time mistake...
The ghost of your cologne,
lingering faintly above the detergent’s scent,
makes my nausea strangle with warning.
You don’t love me- otherwise your
scent wouldn’t be on her bed too.

—Betrayal is not a mistake; it's a choice that reveals character.

The walls of stone staggered,
as those innocent looking eyes
sought an entry
into my inner world.
If a brick was dislodged,
the whole fence fell.
If a spring flower blossomed
out of an icy condition.
“Pluck it out, stomp on it.”
The manner in which he spoke,
its softness, its kindness a ruse.
Walls of stone crumbled.
Ice dissipated into mist.

Closed my eyes, my ears,
and shut out all my senses.
He reached out,
brought me a bouquet of spring flowers,
and a rhythm of the seasons.
A man like that was worth a chance.

Aliens loom
In the skies overhead.
They might be the doom
That makes us all dead.

Or maybe AI
Will do us all in,
And all men will die
By cyborgs with "skin".

But, likelier, Man
Will be his own end
Before he began
To be his own friend.

A man is that hard rock,
Born with stiffness and no shivers,
Until it's pressed at the soft point
Between the right fingers.

He starts to feel safe inside your fist,
Listens, nods, and stays right where you are,
Making believe that sunlight is not for him,
Longs for the darkness over your palm.

A sudden thought, on some evening—
His touch gave you *****, ugly hands.
You let him fall from the space in between,
The one who became yours in a single press.

Then he is vulnerable, unseen, and unvalued below those shoes.
People might've noticed, might pick up, but he yearns for you.

A random day, in the park, you see a man—
Alone, squeezed his body at the very right of the bench,
Longing for somebody to stop by, to listen and not mend.
For once, not feeling sorry for him but
His words left your body feeling alone at the very left end.

What his eyes had witnessed, the broken trust he felt—
Hadn't the crushing below those shoes—
What she had.
I'm unrelated, and hesitant—I might say something wrong,
So I sit quiet, making him feel heard,
Hoping it wouldn't get passed on.
( a random guy (i only know a little) shared his breakup story and I felt it in my bones and couldn't keep it in so I translated it into a poem )

Trotoar yang basah
karena es yang mencair,
Ungkapan penyesalan
beserta cacian terlontarkan.
Seseorang memilih hidup di masa lalu,
Seseorang yang ingin merubah semuanya,
Seseorang yang ingin mencari tujuan,
Kita semua punya dosa masing-masing bukan
"Kami tertawa kami sepakat
ini semua baru permulaan."

Beberapa pria sulit menceritakan hal buruk
