We draw and come closer on grey rainy days. There is something about the comfortability and serenity in listening to the rain, while laying with the one you love.
As I picked you up by the thorn, our love was bound for scarring. These ****** tattoo my skin, shades of black and grey--forever we are.

Was I too friendly?
Seemed more like a brother?
Was I just your guy best friend?
Flirt but you didn't mean it
Just fun and games
A laugh back-and-forth

How was he different?
What did he do I didn't?
Was it his hair? His eyes? His smile?
His heart that you wanted?
I guess mine was too grey for you.
Grey

tell me, how can someone truly be gone? you were breathing the stale musty air, sitting on rickety bus stop bench simply a moment ago. But now you lay empty and grey staring at me with that face I once so gingerly touched with eyes that aren't your own, glazed over baby blues that chill you straight to the bone.

grey misty haze
why pray for better days?
silver hues
lick moist air
in the beautiful world we share
puddles painted on the floor
revealing your unfocused stare
grey misty haze
tickling noses blue
should be enough
for you
why do people not appreciate grey days? do these days not accentuate the vibrancy of the rest, whilst being intriguing and softly beautiful in their own right?
having the audacity
to accept the duality
of man, of time, of life
rather a causality
in itself
of things, of people, of emotions
you can finally let go
the loss of innocence
before you even know
not hopelessly muddled anymore
like the grey colour
in the middle of black and white
no more under the pressure
now off to where the air is fresher.
Accepting the duality is accepting yourself - as you are. Just like we live in the grey between the black and white of HP.

apology printed on your
lips that remain shut
hesitation
towards a quiet girl
who thought of you as
her whole world
let me know what you think. I appreciate anything
