Trying to shun
I don't want this to be done
I don't want this love to be gone
And I don't want to end my day
Without you under the sun

I know our feelings are true
And I want our us to pursue
Please while in process
Dont fall through
I'll promise that always
our love will be brand new

And there I was all out
Thought I had everything figured out
I take one step away
Trying my own devout
Then I find myself coming back to you

A gravitational love
Given from above
That maybe we were meant to fall in love
Girl, we don't have to get rid of this love

Everytime I take one step away
I find myself in front of you
And finally say I'll stay
I won't waste any time and make a delay
Because time always comes by I might lose you and you'll say I need to stay away

I'm not trying to shun
I just don't want this to be done
I just want this love to have fun
And cease our day under a beautiful sun.
Everytime I step back I always end up in front of you maybe just maybe Diane I'm meant to you.

She told me
"I am the Moon."

Seriously
I believed it
Her gravity is
What can't be
Denied

It’s always been
The truth
Genre: Observational
Theme: Muse and the Muser.
Author's Note: Too far yet close. The soul of every spilled ink.

I hate the type of person I am
I love way too fast and way too hard
It’s a problem
Because I’m not saying I’d drop everything for you in a heartbeat but I’m definitely saying that
I would run around this earth 100 times backwards for the chance to be with you
I’m the type of person to wanna lay myself in front of you so you don’t have to walk on the ground
I’d empty an ocean a single cup at a time if it meant I could hear your voice say my name with “I love you” after
They say people fall in love
But it appears that I’m stuck in a never ending free fall
There is no gravity, there is only you pulling me into you
Why am I doing this to me

You were the drought
and I was the rain that
was going to drown you out.

But you swam like you depended
on the earth to hold you.

Never letting you hold ground
cos I took it from under you.

No discipline to hold you like gravity,
the only thing you'll be doing is sinking..

Bottom of the bay, where all wasted things
sink too, you may take a while.

But believe me you'll end up where the rest
               sank.

Shrink wrapped with
        stones of regret on ya
             ankles of missteps.

When you dried out I was the oasis
                   of plentiful rhyme.

you tried to steal from my fountain
but i held you under till you drowned.

And as long as no one knows where you
were ship wrecked, you'll be a drought
in a sea of plentiful moisture
                                    that i drink upon.

I'm only following you
because I can't break out
of your gravitational pull

I
Theres something here that wasn’t there before
Metal in the ground, and its people
Watching as it caves in
A porcelain signal to the root
Theres something here that wasn’t there before
Gravity, undone
I’ll be here when it tears itself to the floor
In ruins, and in figures making vows in smoke
There was something here that isn’t anymore

I fell for you in the winter
my bones cold
I was decaying with fallen leaves
and I remember the books
How they described this feeling
with countless metaphors
But it’s like reading about gravity
And falling for the first time
With no way to see
What’s going to catch you.

i want to let go
to jump into the void
and catch my wings on an updrift of wind
to feel the freedom of longing
but the resistance and gravity
of the thought of you is both holding me back
and pulling me down.
the thought of you restricts me from
going,
leaving,
starting my life how it's suppose to be,
becomes hope is demolition to a soul of love.
notice how i said the thought of you.
it isn't you,
but my mind's imagination of what could be.
the gravity of knowing i will never be enough for you
pulls me down and weighs on my heart.
i know it will shatter and i know i won't recover..
but it's a high that only your drug can give me.
and honestly, i'd face this overdose
over withdraw anyday.
not my best work but i'm sleep deprived and missing my ex. i'm sure we can all understand and relate in some sort of way.

i sent my dreams
downRiver, into your open
mouth. and i stood there,
shell-shocked by the sight of
you,
wondering what it was like to really know
you.
i watched your eyes close,
as the sunset silhoutted your sweet curls.
i exhaled a silent prayer, and hoped
the wind would carry it into your lungs.
my heart pumped blood into
the River
my body did not know
how to swim. so i stood and watched
you,
drinking in the world, without
any idea that it was my
blood that tinged the water.
i wanted to tell you everything
i wanted to scream
i wanted to touch you
but you looked so peaceful,
floating like you were
born to defy gravity. i could not
disturb you and ever forgive myself.
so i knelt where i was,
letting the saltwater trickle from my
face to join the River,
as it took you far away from me.
