the kind of love you want to go on forever
the kind when you're three drinks deep into a bar on Sunday night
where you stay up long enough to meet the sun and turn into its fire
that kind of love
let me know when it comes
let me honor it when it is here
and let me let go
when it's time

So we start this ride again I guess
Go round and round and round
Try to get off this carosel
The exit can't be found

Spin in circles in my head
Down then up by memories
If only I were able to live in one
Somehow make time freeze

Fly in rotations
Undulating
Dozens of feet above the earth
Without anything to hold today
What are these holograms worth?
I feel so low right now

They say "time flies when you're having fun." But I don't remember having any fun.
And I know I'm not the only one.
I remember working. Fighting about money. But, for the life of me, I don't remember my kid being much bigger than a bunny.
I remember being stressed in great detail.
I even remember daydreaming
about getting a boat and sailing away.
But of all the things I wish I could remember,
I wish I knew where the time had gone.
Where my life had gone.
In our Lifetime
They come and go
You'll never see them coming
You never expect them go

Sometimes they come with a lesson
But sometimes with a heartbreak
One thing we should know early on
It's never wrong  to prioritize one's sake

Keep rising even thou you'd fallen
Below the ground where you face had felt the dust of earth.
You could change, becoming beautiful, letting go of the past.
Your dreams are possible bringing every single one of it into reality, walk where the sun lead until it dawn on you keeping your dreams at your reach and you become unstoppable.
I want to know,
If I let go of everything.
Who would be scarred?
I wont, but what if I did....

Twang of iron behind teeth
picking yourself up again, again
from a self-penned melodrama
(one with a snot-sobbing end)

Clouds part, lending a single beam
striking your heart, and you know

Dragging the back of your hand
across fat lips that creep up
for the first time since constant bowls of cereal
and giggling, cartoon mornings

Collecting everything that’s yours
in one hand, a little blood
the doorway shines and you’re gone
I choose detachment;
Excitement brings more distress,
It never brings peace.
Excitement is agitation and agitation leads to desperation which leads to bad outcomes.
Excitement is born from expectations and expectations assure disappointment.
