Her spider eyelashes intensely exude,
an irresistible charm though sinister-
when they flutter, desire in waves spread,
it's gleam, he the hypnotised moth seeks,
dashing straight in to her invisible web of deceit,
seeking an instant nirvana, only to dissolve  in darkness.

You are a firefly,

That goes into the infinitesimal holes of me,

Holes that leads to my pitch-black self,

Then you gleam me up.

the light streams through glass shards
held
together by stone-pressed force
columns of light refract onto the hard
     and cold wooden floor
dust particles, suspended in free fall, dance as the light
shimmers on their skin
gleaming like small glints of silver
     the dust fades into the
Air;
transcendent, Gone.

Sleep now my beautiful princess
That when the morning calls
You rise so sylphlike and
Gleam like the sun
Through the darkness I part the Veil,
And walk the hidden paths,
In the brightness beyond the pale,
I see what none have seen.
There's danger here in the world beyond,
In the gleam beyond the gloom.

And all my days it waits for me,
The calling in my blood,
And through the years I walk the paths,
That very few have seen,
The Veil grows thin as years go by,
In the gleam beyond the gloom.

Through the darkness I return again,
From those fair hidden paths,
And as I walk I learn to talk,
Like I once knew I could,
For few have been beyond the veil,
In the gleam beyond the gloom.

~In the Gleam Beyond the Gloom by Bethany "Lorekeeper" Davis, March 5, 2015

My attempt at translating it into Latin:

Velum parte post umbram,
Et ambulate per semitae occultae,
In splendóribus supra pallidus,
Non video quid viderim.
Non est hic mundus extra periculum,
In splendóribus post umbram.

Et omnibus diebus meis memet maneat
Vocatio in sanguine meo,
Et per annos ambulate semitae,
Valde pauci, quas vidi,
Velum crescit tenuis quod eunt anni,
In splendóribus post umbram.

Per tenebras revertentur
Ex his latet semitas occultae,
Et ego ambulo illis loquela,
Scientes semel ego potui,
Pauci abierunt trans velum,
In splendóribus post umbram.

And a translation of that Latin from an academic translation site:

And the hanging for the part after the shadow,
And walk by the ways of the hidden God,
In the brightness of beyond the pale,
I do not see what I saw,
He is not here the world is out of danger,
In the brightness after the shadow.

The call waits for me,
In my blood, and all my days,
And I will walk you through the years, the highways,
Very few men, that I have seen,
As the years go by the thin veil of the increases,
In the brightness after the shadow.

From these things it is hidden by the darkness,
They shall come again the paths of the hidden God,
And I, I walk the angels have speech,
Yet knowing that once I was able to,
They went to the other side of the veil of the few,
In the brightness after the shadow.

Come, stand by my side
No, there is no need to hide

Look at the world, sonny
It is not as bad, or not as funny

So much strange it may seem
But you can always find the gleam

The sunshine resides in your heart
Let it come out now & illuminate

Cautiously, take care of your feelings
Suppress them, do not let them be exposed

Lips say he's different
now.
Drunk eyes reveal no
change.

~

My knees did not
buckle
At your matured tastes in blues and
bourbon,

my heart did when you didn't
recognize
the gleam of your own
reflection.

I see before me and ocean of hurt
throngs of drowning people.
Their hearts like millstones heavy
sinking into the depths.
I close my eyes to shut them out
yet the memory never leaves.
In their eyes looms a darkness
a twisted lot of shattered light.

So much loss for those to bare
the weary travelers trudge on and on
In so much darkness
we begin to forget our sight.

We lose our bearings,
we drift off course,
we flee the field,
and forsake our honor.
We shame ourselves
hiding,
cowering in the dark.

To where will this life lead
and what will it make of us?
When will the glass ships come
and where will they take us?

I see before me an endless ocean
an ocean of deep blue eyes
Vast as a heathen horde
and greater then the bluest skies.

I see the mountains crumbling
the heavens releasing their fury.
The stars falling in lines
the waters rising in waves.

The flight of the song birds
the night of the wylde.

And all through the storm
through the hurricane of steep misery,
past the edge of the knife
and the end of the rope.
The last gleam of sunlight
and the final sliver of hope.
I can see the ocean
the deep blue ocean.

It is an ocean
An ocean of misery.

It's enchantingly stunning how nature's gleam took me away,
Put me in a rocket and send  me to wander in the Milky-way!
It's so fascinating , my tongue get twisted,no word left to say
Meditation in the stars, planets and comets as they display,
A special kind of music that has so much beauty to convey
This journey enlightened my soul ,appealed it to stay
Fancy is this galaxy, where I will sail every single day ...
;) inspired when my eyes was  wandering in the glittering stars up in the darkness <3
