Some of us
are just
a free meal to
Curious brains
Lustful eyes
And
Hungry egos

Know your worth
and become good appetizers
to the ones
who value you
Like a feast
from paradise

Marry feast
marry fist
and marry feast be over
Tables turned
scraps
dancers turned to fighters
drama
a violent rattle

Whether it is poetry
or even prose,
the orchestra of words
differ musically
In sound
In space
And even in rhythm
But never in meaning
Never in sweetness
The music of words has a myriad of meanings. I fall in love with words over and over again.
My body is feeling rather weak but I'm gonna try and write some of the Masked Bard. Its not as bad as yesterday, thankfully.
Again, everyone, thank you very much for your out-pour of kindness.
Truly, I'm humbled and touched. I know I may sound like a broken record but I just want you guys to know how much it means to me.
It's really helping me feel better.
Hugs and love to you all! ^^

Feasting table under a shading tree
Swaddling robe that warmly cleans
Mirror beautifying while it reflects
Sword that pierces yet never rejects
Light penetrating the blackest hole
Water filling and healing the soul

"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

~ Hebrews 4:12-16

Brother, shall we safely be?
For there is no place to ‘scape a falling tree.

Brother, shall we not hear the sound?
For their trunks of thunder hit the ground.

Brother, shall we lest our sorrow weigh?
For the forest is capped with snow of grey.

Brother, shall we taste the food on our plate?
For we only eat charcoal that lies in our wait.

Brother, shall we claim?
For this forest crumbles for our flame.

Brother, shall we make it past this hour?
For even the forests are hurt by their flowers.

I sharpen my knife,
I stab my own heart
to see if what comes out
is yours or mine

My chest's a hive
bees feast, my flesh to part
the buzzing, a silence so loud
from my blood they make honey wine

I spill it
I speak in tongues
rest upon my honey womb
my nature's a slave to all that you do

In my palms and shapes you shall fit
breathe deeply through my lungs
let me sleep in the silence of your tomb
my nature's turning pure in you

New Year’s night

There is a fire burning and people are drinking;
People are dancing and people are singing.
Auld Lang Syne; it’s another year gone.
So cherish this night, because it will soon be done.

The snow is falling all around us and many friends are merry;
So give everyone a hug and kiss those cheeks!
Come on now, feast upon the many cherries and berries;
Swig from the tankard and have yourselves some meat,
Because this is a celebration, so enjoy the feast!

Hold the one you love and greet your neighbour’s as family,
Because soon enough you will be back at each other’s throats.
So give them your blessings and wish upon a star;
Offer everyone a piece of peace
And see this New Year as a chance to end the feud
And as a chance for new relationships to grow.
