Twisting, turning, churning, swirling
My heart is a maelstrom
Consuming emotion
Twisting endlessly
Swirling perpetually
Tossing on the water
A beautiful, impassioned, blue maelstrom.

Twisting, turning, churning, swirling
My heart is a leaf
Consuming peace
Hovering incessantly
Soaring tirelessly
Tossing in the wind
A beautiful, tranquil, green leaf.

Twisting, turning, churning, swirling
My heart is a blaze
Consuming wrath
Flaming constantly
Combusting continualy
Tossing in the fire
A beautiful, violent, red, blaze

Twisting, turning, churning, swirling,
My heart is a stone
Consuming structure
Tumbling boundlessly
Crumbling unendingly
Tossing on the earth
A beautiful, exact, brown, stone.

What can you hold,
with hands made of fire?
Attempting to warm
those lost in the cold;
pining to dispel
the darkest hallways.
Do I help,
or do I harm?
While intending
to inspire...
am I setting lives
on fire..?
Lonesome embers
leaping from my lips
and fingertips
of flint and steel...
should I keep them
to myself?

Passion spreads
like a forest fire,
Forgive me
if it burns,
I have so much
left to learn.

Rumors prevailing, Forgotten past
Oh a wish in a little clearing in the woods, A nickel of a hope
The signs were obvious, yet the song keep on straining
But with all due time the four elements shattered
Broken Harmony, Four elements scattered across the Earth
Fire, ice, lightning and water.
Two tried to forget, Another eased the sorrow
And one would see it that as harmony broken, nothing could repair the long forgotten oath
Fire and Ice's broken bond
Shattered the earth as neither could forget
Lightning had foretold all
Warnings forgotten, as time does to all
Yet water never failed to forget
Always wary, yet never showing
Harmony in balance, bonds yet strengthened
All in one, shattered bit by bit
Alas, water’s song had failed
Fire enraged, Ice sorrow
Lightning bitter
Water would assure that guilt of time would never cease.
This poem was not written by me. I requested permission of a close friend to post this for all to see, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Eager to anticipate
Each fickle breath to raze
Hunger I can't satiate
The wind is on the wane
Let me loose to create
Don't send me torrid rain
Red fire can never wait
For fuel to set ablaze

The wind is blowing now
Unleash the power true
The heat will speak of how
The air is just a tool
So spread and never bow
Fire is not a fool
With this, our eternal vow
We'll burn the world anew

Listen to the forest
It speaks
Not in the language we know
Birds singing
Leaves bustling in trees
Dancing with the wind
It blows, whispering
“Come with me, come home,”
The ground releases a crunch
As a hard foot presses down

If I sit here long enough
Will I become one of the branches
Of the tree?
Is this how they all got here?

No contact, and no direction towards, four words
forwards, she is gone. For now. Just go and make a fire
blaze the hope, **** the glory
no hearts to make one,
only whole,
no quest to shun,
You cannot control
who you blow to,
or when you catch a light
such is fire with a care
I control not the flow but the temperature

what happened
you disappeared
just scribbled you down
hope in your eyes
the strength of your soul
they stay wide in the night
waiting for a special flicker
to and fro sensation
intermittent fusing nuclei binocular
state of mind
pleasant awakening cloaked in fog
like a comfy blanket
veil of elements
sweeping your mind
cluster of stars swirl in dust
fractional components
that make us up
blink of an eye
did you notice where you came from
embedded in your subconscious
eyelids closed
you can see the swirling
patterns that make
universe seem small
although mathematically
to much to comprehend
you bring it to terms
high level of pleasantness
