Her cheeks are still blemished,
smudged makeup leaving
                                 silhouettes
that never fade.

But I will always cover them up,
                                      with my smile.

the pink and red
in his cheeks
made me fall in love
each and every
time

over and over
again
pink hearts

?
The night air
kisses my cheeks
but my soul
feels so weak
I'm left in the dark wondering
will you turn the light back on?
Night thoughts
all for you Jun 2017
the grass is muddy
where you kicked your feet
as you pushed the swing
that held you and me
and everything in between
with stories and laughs
and smiles so big my cheeks still hurt
with shoulders touching
without the need to be
with feet kicking
and story telling
and smiles
and muddy grass

Sew your ideals behind your ear and stitch your wishes above your heart
Beware you'll never get what you want
The flames will blow out before the candles even lit
Hold on my friend your speeding towards a deadend
Light always casts shadows but shadows never see the light
Choking on pride because it's to hard to swallow gets you nowhere fast
Open your lungs
Cool your flustered cheeks
If you rant till your lips are numb the things worth hearing flutter out mute
Swallow your swollen pride
For it has not a use but to bruise the inflated ego

Walking handstands on raw palms while longing for a spotlight that has been burned out for years

She didn’t just love his chubby cheeks
She loved every bit of him―
From his round eyes to his button-like nose
And his plump lips that form a dulcet smile

She didn’t just love his winsomeness
She loved every side of him―
From his enthusiasm to his warmth
And his soft heart that endears her

She didn’t just love it when he sings
She loved every sound he makes―
From his humorous screams to his sweet whispers
And his laughter that puts her heart into ecstasy

And just like that,
She didn’t just love those parts;
She loved him whole

Your mouth gleams blue under the veil of the full moon.
Your perfect pearl teeth light up like thousands of falling stars ready to face their doom.
Your eyes are reflected in the whispering bay, while your raven black eyelashes extend like mournful hands up against the dark sky.
Your cheeks flare up as the warmest fire place on earth.
This is a poem I wrote back in 2012, in my first year of high school. I was supposed to create it with a friend, but she let me do all the work, since she thought I were good with words, but I don't know about that. I wrote it in Danish, but I have now decided to translate it into English with a few improvements for it to make better sense.
