taste the bitterness upon flowering
buds, it’s a bliss known only
to those who can bite the dark
and see the beauty within it.

Where I end
And she begins
Is open for debate
There are places
We overlap
Blend together
Little between us
Is on the surface
Some are long entrenched
Others postpartum
And they will hold on
To the bitter end
Ebbing and flowing
Careening and crashing
So many create
Their own storm
Those wise enough
Allow them to drowned

This ****** organism
Flowing with Lyricism
Endowed with Witticism
Maybe lacking in rhythm...
But not in favouritism
Look under the skin
Why the schism
What is the division
Needless criticism

Wait... did I just become the villain?
Is there ever any need for judgemental comparison?

My heart within me is still
Growing fonder and fonder
With her feverish embraces
Amidst the slightest touches
Every single one of them is divine
She is all the colours in one at full brightness
Surpassing all men, in hearts, and in splendour.

The song I undoubtedly sang so well
But only as friendly it could suffice
I grasped on to my feelings for so long
My tender fingers could hold on no more
Nevertheless, a glimmer of hope I felt in her words
May God love me enough
That my feelings not deceive me
That my only hope, fade not, from view.

We are too young in time
For the feelings that arrest our hearts
These hearts that may have hitherto been shattered
We have felt pain man knows not of
Nothing is altogether new
With time being most ardently kind to us
Going ever so very slowly
We will be healed of our wounds
The sun, to our faces, will shine once again.

Hand in hand on a perfect evening stroll
Heaven and earth reclining into the background
Our mouths saying few
Our hearts saying all
Maybe she will be mine and I be hers
However obvious about my feelings I may be
Maybe a friendly song will forever be heard
My heart will still go on nonetheless
Knowing well I played a part in the story still
We can reach that famous happy end.
We can, in our hearts, rewrite the stars.
Some lines I stole from favourite movies and songs... enjoy :D

A black splash
washes over my mind.
A dark flow that
bursts into bloom, like
Oleander or Night Shade.
The four leaf clover in
my pocket broke into a
thousand green tears.
Lovers know *******.
And when she keeps me from
my daughter, she's the
executioner, and smiles.
But the sublime thing about
life and love is: I will
never give up.
If I fall 100 times,
I will rise 101.
And I'll see you
soon, my little Iris.
Children need their fathers.

Who owns grief?
The one who cries the loudest?
The one who acts the most disturbed?
     Or *******-ish?
     Or eerily withdrawn and quiet?
The one who had The Best Relationship with the dead?
     The most unresolved?
The one who feels the most guilt?
Who feels out of place at the funeral?
     Who resents the world?
Who is named in the will?

How many people can have a share?
Who is allowed a say on the Board of Grief?
     Are children underage?

How powerful are the grieving?
Enough to command a neighbor’s chicken soup?
     Casserole?
     Cake?
     Family heirloom?
     House?
     Family entire?
     Telephone call?

Is it tenacious
to take mine
because i took yours,
or perhaps only foolish
to both end up blind
a method I don't agree works well in the long term

I
In her eyes,
bitterness manifest,
from the throat which is dry,
a sad note of lullaby rest.
first poem. first and a small part of the whole.

by acknowledging the dark will you able to find light.

The great dragon hides away in her cave
Drunk on the beating hearts of her prey
Surrounded by the gifts of her worshipers

Her eyes burn red from the lack of peace
Her breath is sulfurous and fiery hot
Her tongue whips lashes with no remorse

I once pledged my loyalty to her
Gave her my heart and my soul
She scorched it just like the earth around her
