the boy loved God so much
he had no love left for me
i poured my love into his overflowing soul
and ended up in a biblical proportion drought of my own making
it’s hard to love the source of your lack of love

i cannot believe the hues of this
i cannot believe i bruised like this
purple and black, green and blue
i am studying the ways of my wounds
i bleed for a reason, my mind isn’t treason
i am able to move

We are called to walk in the Spirit,
yet a nameless grip keeps steering our feet astray.
That’s when we go searching for willpower
for dominion over the sights before our eyes
and the thoughts we let rise in our minds.

We may think we’re always right
but if that were true,
every person would claim the bench of Chief Justice,
or worse, the throne of Chief Lawless.
I can't help writing from this biblical verse that talks about walking in spirit and not heeding to the flesh.

that christmas in whistler
you led me towards something
glorious

i met new people
we shared stories
and i stood by the mountain
while skiers came towards me

gracefully

like a dance upon the snow
synchronized
your presence was everywhere

i could finally see
as your beautiful crystals
showered me

your sun still came to shine
and the star upon the trees aligned
and when it was time to get in line
i saw others just like me

alone at christmas time

oh Yahweh
oh Yahweh
almighty one

how pleasing to know
you chose me
for your son
Many people spend Christmas alone, it's a thing that holds some kind of taboo. Many of those people don't talk about it, and likely that's because they really don't want the pity or the judgment.

strings from heaven
a revelation song
praising the lord of lords
who conquered babylon

his word is his bond
he returns for the ones
who overcame and repented
his kingdom has won

the wedding shall begin
i am part of the win
with my finest white linen
prepared to meet the king

his love is sacrificial
righteous
and sweet

his kingdom is like no other
a peaceful joy
time to greet

Eve
She dances around the apple tree,
as Adam watches her innocent beauty
Naked-ness but with no seduction
They are both free from a shameful tease.

There's an apple that she can't resist,
The temptation of such the delicious
She decides no harm to take a bite,
And when she does comes the blight.

Sin is born and their bodies become shameful,
They cover themselves with leaves and trigs.
And seduction is born to lust as born to passion
And their bodies become sinful as the rain drips.

The wetness of Eve's lovely skin and her hair,
and green eyes is more than Adam can bare.
Such beauty and the virtue of this ******
He wishes as before his eyes couldn't see.
