A beautiful woman's home smells with beautiful flowers
A wise woman's home  smells with delicious food
A  good woman's home knows what is convenient for family.

It’s been months since I’ve written.
Now, with a shaking hand and bruised ribs,
an unforgiving mind and a whirlwind of words unwritten,
I’ll put my thoughts back on paper. Where they come from.
I want to write, I told a coworker. When I’m older.
But it’s been months since I’ve been able-
to afraid to think and too thoughtless to write,
pushing through life like a Halloween corn maze, constantly lost, yet never knowing
How or Why or Where or When.
But I feel I can- hope I can,
know I will.
So, though it’s been months since
a single word came out,
I’m taking my brain and spilling it out-
out for the world to see?

Flourishing fierce flames
With trails of smoke beget a phoenix
And end life on a pyre
We burn in inferno of desire
Rising from the ashes buried
A tanka poem written on fire with scheme 5-7-5
Fire is one of those five resources that make us.  It gives birth and ends life but still we humans keep on burning in the fire of desires and then try to rise after becoming the prey of this furious fire. .

Turn the page, begin a new chapter,
I have placed the past at the start of the book,
Good day to start the rest of your novel,
The time and place to change is now; just look.

There is no better moment than the present,
Do what you have always wanted to do,
If you wait for the "right" opportunity to come
Might accidentally pass by you.

Every day a chance to write a new story,
An idle pen is of no use,
Neglecting the blessings life has to offer
Is it's own unique form of self-abuse.
Don't waste life away

Equality is treating
everyone the same
Equity is giving
everyone the same
chance to advance
society's severest test

Sometimes sighted
ones has to be given
the braille test
including the jury
for a wrong righted
affrights no one
Inspired by Jodi Picoult's, Small Great Things.

Troublesome author,
we are suffering subjects;
we didn't pray for this.

Why create the day
when the sun is so gloomy?
Our own light is ******.

You demand our love.
Such a horrid creator;
love isn't ours to give.

At the end of a great writer...

"The most important moments are at the end.
10 minutes in youth may be unworthy.
These last moments will make all the difference to me,
but I will not remember one of them."

The newborn speaks and the men listen...

"Is the soul in the mind of the writer, or in the writing itself?
How does our consciousness pass on?"

The old man lays down his glasses the last time...

"I will now sleep and dream, and in the morning I may cry my first."
This was a dream I had and wrote down right after waking.
