The Gunners' cry,
Where right and glory lead.
Spirits soar high,
Legacies live on
Unbroken by destiny.

Through shot and shell,
Through peace and war,
Until duty is finally done.
Rest easy and keep watch
From the heavens above.

Ubique always,
In faith and brotherhood.

My Father passed away on Wednesday, 2nd July after a long illness.
He was a Gunner with the 40th Field Royal Artillery from the age of 17 until 27. I have heard some wonderful stories as past army pals reminisce about my father. I am so very very proud of him.
I will miss him so much.

We are pack
United as one, we attack
Nothing can stand before the wolf pack

A pack united is unstoppable
But a lone wolf is trivial

End to end, we ruled the map
If you thought you were free, it was only a trap
And if were satiated, we might even cap

But there was a shift in power, and the STDs ruled from above
Death poured down from on high
And "cancer" was written in the sky

These big guns divided the pack
We became lone wolves, and trivial
We cannot stand before this attack

We remember when we were united as a wolf pack
We were pack

The violet sky was burning
An aura of deadly white
Myriad of colours churning
Among the silent lights

The sky awash with violence
The sounds of shattered steel
The terror of eternal silence
Was burned into my ears

The sound of grinding iron
The whistling of fallen shells
The blare of air-raid sirens
The cacophony suddenly fell

The death of sound was violent
It's melody so suddenly hushed
The music of war was silenced
Though its tempo remained untouched
