A cool girl, a cool beer, with foaming suds to Bubble my ears
Then a cool band playing so me and my girl can relax out
Nothing better than tonight
A strange Tuesday and yet the best I've ever known.
hear the drum beat now
jazz, blues, rock and far beyond
ginger baker rocks
blue is the vision
like a marble of color
oceans of the world
Iv never wanted to punch a wall so much
Another knife wound lead by misguided trust
"We will be here for you"
Iv heard that a million times
So ether people are deaf
Or just like to ignore my cries for help
But if I died tonight it would be a bunch of people claiming how they knew me so much
But If you did you would have known your presence would have been just enough
Galileo once told that two bodies that fall at exactly the same time, regardless of whatever, land at identical times, too. That regardless of how heavy or light their loads are or how dim or bright their souls are, when they fall, they fall.

Together.

And stay grounded, together.

But he dared not to tell of how two souls could ignite but still fail to heave each other’s flames.

Of how two bodies fall at the very same time,

*but never for each other.

When I become tired of you, I take a nap.
You
You're the winter, that cools my endless summer.
You're the frost that chills my burning embers.
You're my best friend
My soul's mate
My lover.

You're the stillness that calms my restless soul.
You're the anchor that stops my wandering heart.
You're my best friend,
My soul's mate,
My lover.

You're the moon that lights my starless night.
You're the space I need to fly.
You're my best friend,
My soul's mate,
My lover.

You're the cosmic wonder for whom I fell.
You're forever, and ever as well.
You're my best friend,
My soul's mate,
My lover.

Sea
Under the identical night sky as yours,
I fill my lungs with the sweet smoke,
knowing you're doing the same thing
miles away.
you, the need to fit in,
me, wishing to forget my sins
you, a sense of belonging with your friends,
me, alone, wondering who I became.

through the haze, I see your face.
You've got a painful grip
on reality, with those
sun-burnt palms from
waiting with arms wide open
for someone to come back to you.

The sky unfolds before
your dry eyes
in layers and miles
of deceit and lies,
as the sun becomes the moon,
smiling borrowed light
down upon you.

Ridiculing your commitment.

Mocking your hallucinating mind
with illusions of grandeur,
and false relief,
in the face of the great grief
you hold so closely
to your heart.

I love you like this.

I love you when the curtains are drawn
and the light pours down around you
like an electrical hurricane.

I love you in the morning dawn
waiting for love to ground you,
while soaring through the pain.

I have become very uninterested
in a life without you.
With love, kelsey
