she goes on her knees
just like then
1963
when she got engaged to her late husband
this time
for her son
for her sun

reminds God she is a widow
life still on window
nothing changed since then
she has yet to see the country have indipendent,
her grandfather meant

his grandfather used to be a guirrella warrior
now he makes her mom worrier
too bad
ts not white people anymore
tanned black  like him

he wishes to meet thieves over cops
corpse over cops
his moms prayers keeps him afloat
what of orphans
should we prepare the hearse

maybe grandfather didnt **** the right enemies
or
never knew black or white
