Neither conscious
nor unconscious
only in between
oblivion,
but still living on
the edges of an
ever present delirium

need ****** or
*****
need to sleepwalk around the stadium
headline the Palladium
fill an auditorium
and drown in the applause.

( see clause one )

The second hand bemoans the fact
that it is never first,
but
it's just another alcoholic tick.

I'm heading due to God knows where
it could be Bedlam with Napoleon
or even Joan of Arc,

head in the sand
I am here
always in the dark.
