I walked along the train tracks
they lead me to a beach
where the sand slipped right through my fingers
and flashes of an hourglass tipping
flooded through my mind
as I sat on the beach
the waves hit my toes
and all I could do was smile
because in this moment
the earth and I became one
and I knew that in the end
I was exactly where I wanted to be.
on the beach, feeling the wind
and the sand beneath me...............
