A Boston State Of Mind

Here I am a sixty three year old man
Listening to my rock & roll at my age
My teenage years always come flooding
Back to me though I’m in life’s third stage

My music still takes me back to a
Younger version of myself
So whenever I get a chance I’ll
Take something old off the shelf

I’ll dust it off and put it on
And let it take me back in time
Sometimes for my neighbors it may
Be too loud but that’s my life’s only crime

Especially when I open the windows
And turn it up when it’s eight in the morning
Sometimes I push the boundaries
Because my urges come without a warning

I’m known for my passion of KISS but
I listen to a variety you’d be surprised to find
Today I may be wearing a KISS shirt but
I’m in A Boston State Of Mind
