Poems
May 9
He could have been Pat Garrett, but Leo will do.
Mesmorised
then demoralised
when
She closes her eyes.
The weekend arrives
but not for me,
I'm working, see,
but I can't see why,
it's never the other guy
who draws the short straw
it's always me
and I can't see why.
She says
stop whining
the sun's shining
Summer is almost here
aha
She's opened her eyes and
now I can see her,
Finally.
I cry into the coffee cup
the coffee's gone
I drunk it up
and so
to drink the milk of
human kindness
is a kindness in itself.
