May 3
Restful sight,
as we reached the crest,
our hair aligned,
pointing west,
with sunset beneath red clouds,
unveiling our whereabouts.

Silently, through an open wound
tomorrow slowly seeps —
tearing our days apart.

Breathless, leaping down into waters
which color her lips —
weightless in a helpless heart.

Aching, we prowl howling highways,
through concrete jungle veins,
amid the deafening growl ––
us entangled.

Hissing tune,
following comes fangless bite.
To kiss you ––
soothing ripples of the night.
