A Candle Without A Wick

       You’re a candle without a wick
You listen to the voices in your head
You hear the Demons whisper
You’d be better off dead

You’re your own worst enemy
You’re the reason for your own pain
You walk through life without an umbrella
And subject yourself to the poison rain

You’ve lost the ability to feel love
And pleasure in your everyday
You’d rather hide in the shadows
And just simply fade away

In a world full of people, you can’t
Imagine someone else who feels the same
You think God has forsaken you and
The Devil knows your name

You tell everyone, when it comes to a
Good life you drew the shortest stick
Everyone needs to know that no one knows
Darkness like A Candle Without A Wick
