I think our love was endless love
And deep it was as oceans dwell;
When waves wide-white that well above
Had hit my home or citadel:

Where moss-stone bricks sew tales of love,
Each cloud a kiss in summers wade,
And once laid there my lady-dove
Who flew afar my tranquil bay:

And garden grasses grew greener for her
And tulips bloomed to shine to her
And moments last the all of her -
When two lovers meet then go away.
