Buoyant in the river of mentality,
That men are strong and unwavering.
Resenting the toxic masculinity
To be instilled upon me.
Men are fortitude—impenetrable,
Statement of truth but not all to encompass.
As men maybe fortresses, but they do.
They also do crumble—also vulnerable.
Thy bleeding is not only what's capable,
But also as to tear in expressing emotions.
Maybe soldiers in the mirror, but so do them,
Their swords get blunt and shield, rusted.
To wail they do, and falls from normalcy,
Non forbidden, to tear of many reasons.
From the hollowed heart and feelings,
To pain in all aspect of thy body that reigns.
"I am a man, and I cry."
Thy phrase non shall evade
Thy words truest men shall have pride
That men tears, and it strengthen thy heart.
Yes, I am a man, and I cry.
