In love I was born,
A body with no soul
She held me in her arms,
And slowly she made me whole.
In her eyes I was made,
Her gentle heart--
Breathing life in me.
From the moment--
I was awake,
She never did let go of me.
In her embrace,
She raised me in a cruel world.
I was her everything,
Dear then them gold and pearls.
She sang me her love,
A lullaby so I could gently fall asleep.
Whence I dreamt of the stars,
She was the one,
Who gave me all the love--
I would ever need.

You gave me all you had
And then some more.
Lived each day for me,
With all the weight you bore.
You taught me,
Everything that I am.
It was in your arms,
That I learned how to stand.
You showed me,
How to love the world.
To be kind,
Even if sometimes it hurts.
In your presence,
Even the shadows were bright.
You held my tiny hands,
And slowly walked me to life.
I owe you alot more,
Than to be just alive.
You gifted me my soul,
When you sang to me--
Every night.

Years go by in a blur,
Only age lets one cherish--
The time one once had.
To remember,
The moments gone by
When we turn back.
And all I see is you,
Holding me in your arm.
Every smile of yours,
Making me warm.
There was nothing more divine,
Then to be in your shadow.
You lit me up in colours,
When I was but hollow.
Though, now I'm old,
You are still the same.
And when you take my name,
I become the little one--
Once again.

Oh, dear mother
I've loved you--
From the day I was born.
Seasons wither,
But I'll always love you--
For you're the only god,
I have ever known.
In case you are wondering about the Title, every day is a mothers day, don't you think ?.

Anna entered the room like a butterfly, gossamer to all.
Her face told a different story. One of sadness and hurt.

She wore only the finest silks and seamed cuban stockings.
All eyes latched upon her and followed  every step. But no real man ever approached her.
No saviour could get near.

She wore none of her finery, the choice all his.
A trophy bride,
sold like raw meat in her childhood.
It was normal in her village, her adolescence stolen from her.

Anna's delicate neck held an overbearing sapphire necklace. It was overkill in every way.
All for show, all chosen by him, all for him.

He entered with his cronies as though owning the club.
The way he thought he owned her.
Thought indeed, for there is always a price in ownership.

Hours past champagne and fake laughter abounded.
Then she stood up.
Immediately challenged!
She wished to go and powder her nose.
Naturally escorted, god forbid she made outside contact.

But she was not watched within. Minutes passed then... The scream.
She had left, Anna had escaped him.
The anger on his face !
He had no control, lost face in front of them all.
For Anna, oh beautiful Anna lay sylph like wrapped like a cloud in her white dress, its silk floating in a pool of her life blood.

She had left, she was free.
Now her face was different, white, ashen but at peace.
Free..
Anna had left.
Short tale based upon escaping slavery as a *** trade bride.

Skirt up ******* down, he doesn't love her, she doesn't care!
***** redbulls, many she's had and now she wants him deep inside.
It's a weekend night in any town, alcohol driven no morals around.
Hedonistic in every way, precautions none its "mad Friday"!
******* up and off she trots, a drink to finish at the bar
A few drinks more she's being sick, oh Cinders is a mess again.
Tomorrow morning when she wakes she won't remember anything.
Observations on a knee trembler

Skirt up ******* down, in the car park, behind the Grand
Seven drinks and she wants her fill, I hope she's on the mini pill!
Harder harder now she cries! His kness are bent she's 5 feet 5
He always thought she was a looker, he never expected he would f@@k her.
Less than five minutes its all over, he's once again deflowered a daughter.
She pulls him in for a kiss, he doesn't want to touch her lips.
******* up she walks away, he goes to tell his mates.
A few pints more he wants a kebab, who won the footy? I'll ave sauce on that!
Tomorrow morning will he remember? The night she chose you for surrender

I wish I was kissing you not missing you.
I wish I talking not typing.
I know I'm nothing in your world
You know you're something in mine.
The upper hand to do as you please, or not.

Slepping at night in a far away place
The rain drumming on the window
The light distorted as I see you
Only in my imagination you're not there
You have never been there

I wake to see your face, your smile
Oh be here now with me at dawn
If only in my dreams for today
Not just wishes, kisses

But that's what dreams are....
Something written re writren and given up on.

So far away yet mentality so close
Between what we have and what we know
Is there a space for what we need
Or do we simply go on without a need
If I wanted to hold her, could I ever?
Seas away and never met
But something somehow seems to say
It would be more than okay
So lament your now and toast your past
For what may be a deam..
Could be your last.
A poem that became a song

I looked at stars in the night
I danced to dreams in my mind

Then all around me was dark
No one to hear my voice

Then I heard the music of life
Flooding my soul like light

Louder than I'd heard before
No one could hear my heart roar

Then, then it began to fade
All that was here was no more

All now around me was dark
No more to dance to now

Everything gone far away
So I must sleep once, again

It begins here. Life that is. Or a field or the backseat of a car. But let's keep the bed in mind. Be it sprung or foam modern or antique, we all start on one, are born on one, and if we are lucky leave on one. Today I bought a new one. Firm hard and good for me. Thats todays news

Long shadows fall as we tread the shore
Tide far out and breeze blows
Watching the sun fade its beauty incomparable
You keep tugging at the butterflies wings
causing pain, torturing
The sun sets on another day, tomorrow it will rise again

Over and over the same foes on a piece of ground where nothing grows
Fertiliser the blood of a child a seed won't grow even if it tried
Your cause is lost in hate and fear humanity does not live here
