If I was a mountain

That soared towards the sky,

With craggy snow caps

And stormy grey eyes-

Then you'd be the clouds

That swaddled my peak,

That silenced my thunder

When I tried to speak.

If I was the earth

The desert, in fact:

With arid dry soil

And mud, baked and cracked-

You'd be the rain

The downpour that soothed;

The balm to my bruises,

Relief to my wounds.

If I was the Moon

In the indigo night,

With stars as my blanket

And silver; my light-

Well you'd be the Sun

Just always behind

That lent me your glow

And caused me to shine.

How?
Just how?
Did you know,
past my smiles and reassurance,
through my antics and all,
that underneath, behind my eyes, that I was in pain,
I was taking a fall.

How did you know?

You saw right through me,
like no one else could,
you sent me words of reassurance,
like no one else would.

So how did you know?

I hid it so well, no one else could catch on,
yet there you were,
to catch me,
before I was long and gone.

How did you know?

It's unnatural,
uncanny,
nearing impossible!
How you do what you do,
but I'm glad you did,
I'm really, really glad, that you knew.

But did you know?

You're my secret confessor,
though neither of us know it yet.
Because now with you,
I know my heart is set.

I can show you the things,
that only I hide below,
because it seems I just can't hide it,
because you always seem to know.

I Love... You.

But you'll never know.
To her, who always seems to see me right through.
To her, that always makes me feel unsure, of what...exactly to do.
Do not poke the sleeping beast
that hides behind another's mask
his words not written to inspire
but to wound and belittle.
He crows for attention,
this loathesome creature,
with boundless ego
and tongue firmly
rotting in pustuled cheek
he will not be the thief of confidence
he will not be the silencer of hope
for he is the keeper of bitter misery
the captain of a sinking ship
not one will touch his heart
as it sits within it's cavern of disdain.
Best friends for life
Respect and love unbreakable
Occurances of strife
Treasured trust deeper than space
Hearts chained together
Everlasting link unshakable
R**ichness of soul, love forever
