The Girl
I am terrified,
When I look into those bright blue eyes.
I'm not sorry that I lied,
And that I created this disguise.
You are the fear held within me,
Torturing my every thought,
For I know what we should be,
No, I know that we could be a lot.
You think that I'm too good for you,
But deep inside of me I know,
That I don't deserve a boy like you,
Not for a girl who lives with woe.
I have known such things for far too long,
After three great years and a million songs.

Look me in my eyes
while we make love
even though I'm shy
I promise not to look away
stroke me like you're searching
kiss me while you try to find
whisper ***** things
get inside my mind
pin my arms up
cease scratching
draw circles
sign your name
I don't mind
just make it last
don't worry how much time has passed

i already feel the distance...

the absence of me in your space,

after only a few days.

for you it could take months

to see the holes in your life

where i used to reside.

my phone charger doesn't  share a socket

with yours, no extra shoes in the closet.

i've only left what could be lived without...

an extra toothbrush, various travel

size soaps and a razor…

disposable~

just stop
telling me
to have a
good night.
i've had enough of you
telling me what to do.
When you have already
watched her dance
having never seen something
so free,

a beautiful spinning top
on the edge of reason.

When she enters your grungy
apartment for the first time
takes her shoes off smiling
she sits on your couch.

She trusts your dog tired eyes
and what lies behind them.

When the first time your lips touch
you feel as though the universe
itself becomes small enough
to fold up and fit in your pocket.

All that is begged, borrowed, or
bought becomes free.

When all of this happens and
you reach to caress the side of
her neck as you passionately
bite her bottom lip,

know that what follows may not be expected, most things seldom are.

When she trembles, it is not because
you are a second coming Casanova
nor does she see you portraying
a detrimental Don Juan.

In every man lies the possibility
of both sinner and saint.

When she trembles, it is because
in that moment the passion burning
so brilliantly is as frightening to her
as it is to you; both brush set ablaze.

She has the same stitches and
scars to show for it.

When she trembles, it is because
there are those that have come
before masquerading hate
cleverly disguised as love.

Sometimes hate is just love
with a chip on its shoulder.

When she trembles,  it is because
trusting something so powerful
without control can and has led
to the leveling of entire civilizations.

Every man on earth has an
Achilles heel, Helen knew this.

When she trembles, it is because
she knows as well as you do that
all flames came be extinguished by
the smothering of wants and have nots.

You are both neither broken or whole;
a shattered mirror still reflects.

When she trembles, it is because
the thought you can fit so perfectly
in a hole she has spent an entire
lifetime forgetting about is petrifying.

You do the only thing you can do,
kiss her and then let her go.
Blazing the pain
Waiting for the rain
Danger lies inside
Weird scenes in my mind

Burning desires in my brain
Riding the lysergic train
In the dark stuck in a maze
Wild girls lost in the haze

Children of the light
Waiting for the sun

Sweet child is born

The child is the dawn

Memories fade away
Strange land
Summer dance
Amnesia
Lucid dreams
Unicorns

We Are All Insane

Words Of Harfouchism
It hurts to set you free
But you'll never follow me
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die

This is the end

The End - The Doors
Give us lust
Give us bliss
Set us free
Play the music
For you and for me
Look to the stars
Follow me
Follow the line
Kiss me twice
We've been wasting time
Love me slowly
Kiss me again before you go
We will meet again
The world's insane

Are we alive?
Is this real?
Or is it just a dream?

I remember the first night we kissed
The feeling of fireworks
Erupting on my lips
Of electricity pulsing through your fingertips
Tracing down my hips
To the curves of my spine
The standstill of time
As your eyes looked deeply into mine
And you drew the words i love you with your hot breath
And stamped them
Beneath my rib cage.
