I can see Spring
and her fine colours
from afar.
I long to stand under the
cherry blossom tree as
it rains confetti down on me.
Instead I stand in real rain, hazy,
pattering, smatterings of daffodils
pressed against barbed wire.
So they closed the formal garden at wollaton Park but I could look in on it from outside
A golden pinwheel.
Tall and proud, the face of day,
Bright love’s bountiful.
Revised.
they called her honey
because her soul
was golden

For no rhyme or reason do I now compose
My sentences in some sort of prose.
I write for fun and when I am done
I sit and read with uncertainty
Works I've added to this community
And thankful for it
has made me confidant.

If you felt the same
Could you join me in saying,
To the one who in their making
Formed this cite
Were we all can write,
Thank you Eliot York
We much appreciate your work!

Sorry I am a bit of a dork
But I was taught
To say thank you
And pay my dues
To the one who
Thanks is due.
So thank
YOU!

You have your hands around my mouth,
That's ok because I don't need to shout.
I have patience in me,
That transcends with tranquillity.
What you are trying to breach,
Isn't woven in my sleep.
You can't devour,
The wrath of my silence.
This fight you give,
Stand alone,
With swords of your violence.
Shielded so tight,
A loner in the battlefield.
A gun- you coward,
Words are what I weave.
Solitarily I stand,
On the brink of my ruins.
A pariah mould,
Knows not to fix what's not broken.

my shelter,

two arms,
a human lean-to,
a pup tent,
all with a
welcome mat,
for you,
await

with graceful patience
simpatico smiling,
always avail,
awaiting,
no life clock countdown
prematurely pushing,
come when
there is
no other place

all,
on offer,
shelter places
that become
your home,
if you so
honor them thus,
your choice,
your decision
when to come n' go

shelter you,
no questions asked,
cloak all with human warmth,
easy silences, no pressures

for when my arms
 bear your load,
now mine,
my load,
somehow

halved!
it was quiet here yesterday
the rain came and dripped
with noises outside the back
i looked out to see the gutter
slipped and listened to the
sounds

looked at the wet glistening
on the ivy

wedged the cloth to soak
the water up then lit the fire

done some drawings
&
cookings. a pleasant
day for me

comparing large dresses

hoping that all will be
well
