I miss my love, oh I miss my love so:
O' I miss my love so dearly, and I
Wonder where she'll ever go -
I miss her like winter misses leaves
I miss her like salt that ocean wear;
And I wonder if she'll again breathe
That same breath that we forever shared:
O' I miss her like wind and rain,
like fire and ash - or something mean:
I miss her like heaven misses man
Or hell - I miss her as much too -
I miss her like glove does its hand
I miss her like colour misses blue.
I miss her like raindrops on a pane
Or babies when they cry at eve:
I miss her like a rooster does its hen
I miss her like blankets do the sheets.
I miss her, like any ocean dove
With a passion many moons above -
I miss my love with all my man
I miss her with a writing hand -
I miss my love so dearly so
I miss my lover
I miss her -

Crying woman of the night
Please don't shed more tears tonight
I too have felt your cries and pain
I too as well think dads are lame:
Please don't cry more tears again
I love you more than just a friend
I'm sorry I've made you cry again
I know I'm dumb with what I say
I'm sorry again I'm sorry again
Please don't cry more tears of pain

This plain beacon is what you see
But in my eyes it is my soul
This beacon does not light like fires,
Instead a colour in shades unknown:
It does not light, like a bulb;
Nor turn on or off like a switch,
But instead when I see this beacon,
This beacon shines within my head.

Beauty Fish
Diesel Feb 2021
O' beauty fish! whose scales shine the upper sea:
The fins that push a wide abyss
In colours that forever ream
Of red and blue and purple-ness
And further waves of tangerine.
The sapid hops of beauty fish
And all the rainbow in the sea.

Stuck at Sea
Diesel Apr 2021
No day is nicer than one spent with you
No night is colder than one without your warm
The stars in space, they shine brighter and brighter
But when next to you how easy I scorn:
The waves at sea, they sway and they sway
And up about our boat of love:
Wooden planks and a bucket for waste
And all our loving will float above!

Anxiety for Death
Diesel Apr 2021
At any moment death today
Will shiver coldly down my spine
What could be more? What would display?
If can't we see, or full of sight?

Does it suffer like what we draw?
Is there further than heaven's field?
Are the minds still ours to call?
Is there meaning serenely real?

Can they see all and tease our pain?
Or mock us when in random times:
Will they reveal their selfish games?
Or is it us that play with life?

Are we more than the souls that go
Like passioned men that march too soon:
What matters it when death the goal?
Or find out all the world consumes?

Hello sadness, again I find
Between the old and warming day:
And the birds chirp quieter - a calling night
And the children sleep away.

That's left is me and earth her moon
Still shining out the curtain sky;
The 'choly time when in sweet hue
When bedtime sheets are warmest high:

When sidewalks tint in waning grey
That lead the wind to lonely rooms
More good sadness from night today -
Or Tuesday I should call it too.

Night Texting
Diesel Feb 2021
By the walls on the floors in a room gone asleep:
A two-lover tale in tandem by each:
In text-phone-taps each drum the lovers play,
And the heat in the heart could haste the high of day!

Morning Dreams
Diesel Jun 2021
One day I woke, then fell again
And back to sleep to bed I'd go:
Then travelled me to distant land
Where all your dreams come out to show:
Now rose mine like the sweeping sea
To take me to some foreign plat:
Where people talk in rustly trees
That whisper thoughts with veiling tact:
And eyes I knew no longer look,
Instead though drapes met shadow high:
Where roses speak for why they bloom
And raindrops fall in conscious cry:
And in my dream I see too much;
Mountains high my dreams may reach,
Or taller than the northern sky
Where starlets shine their brightest feat:
But then I woke by summers rime
And sunshine hits my dreamy fall:
A liquid rose - or breathing pine;
Or had I even dreamed at all?

Flirting
Diesel May 2021
Do my eyes bring you joy?
Does it make you rather coy?
Or if when I smile-
Does it make you rather wild?

Or the length in my stare,
Thine eyes mine eyes had wear;
Or caress o'er your face
Where honest hands could trace:

Should I come further near?
Or withhold for thy fears?
Could a rose less the wait?
Or stars I take from space?

I know the spirits close!
The us that wear no clothes!
And magnets bring us nigh
And flirty too am I:

Thine eyes they bring me joy-
And make me feel so rather coy.

Love Sonnet for Past Love
Diesel Apr 2021
In fact I might take to her too sensual,
Or chance that I might make lovers disease,
Or that to when love incomparable
A flight of kisses that to on her cheek:
Or could the love of each other remind
The passion nights and the spoken days?
What words to pour the earthling divine
If angels they talk or spirits they say:
Or might the lips that too much to her feel
Leave bitter thoughts that then sit on her face:
Or when the tests that should love then be real
And no love, no call, to have ever came.
Now poems that sit in between our time,
And love, and our love that figure in line.

The Nature of You
Diesel Feb 2021
Thou art fairer than the sun's divide!
Perhaps rarer than an ocean's leap:
And wild, wild like the ******* bear
In moments, in times of disbelief:
And the hornets - by the woodland air -
How they've all fallen by your own two feet.

Like the icy lakes of frozen fish,
The solid ponds, the gaggle of geese;
It would seem a beauty does exist,
nonetheless, in the quiver of trees:
The winter flora; this snowy 'byss:
All by your sadness - by your teary fleet.

And when the stormy shore subsides, and
Eastern breezes bring a balmy blow,
The skies in blue more brightly shine, and
Fulfills my eyes your mystic glow: oh
Whatever else may be sublime, an
Intense passion to forever show!

Mom Bird

O' mommy bird, where have you gone?
I sit alone for some time now:
Or have your feathers lost their arms?
Or have you had another child?

O' mommy bird, where did you go?
You left some while and left alone:
O' mommy bird, don't leave me now
I have nothing else just as a child

A Lover Departs From Me
Diesel Apr 2021
I think our love was endless love
And deep it was as oceans dwell;
When waves wide-white that well above
Had hit my home or citadel:

Where moss-stone bricks sew tales of love,
Each cloud a kiss in summers wade,
And once laid there my lady-dove
Who flew afar my tranquil bay:

And garden grasses grew greener for her
And tulips bloomed to shine to her
And moments last the all of her -
When two lovers meet then go away.

My Sadness
Diesel Mar 2021
Come on Sadness, put on your shoes
Let us walk with troubled time:
Stay by me, and I by you;
And whisper me a sadly rhyme:
Say it all, do say it true,
For no one else shall listen why.
Oh little Sadness, quiet blue,
Your tiny feet that stomp on life:
Mind the plants, do watch the shrews;
What had they to earn your crimes?
Leave the children, let them youth;
No tiny men do want your time.
Hurry Sadness, do stay by me;
Don't forget why you are mine:

Do not leave, for I'll find you
And keep with me till all of time.

On a sunny summer evening
Where flowers begin to dance:
The wind, like a breathing tune,
Sonorous and Proud,
Like aid for chanting prance:

Or in midst of silver snow,
Where dark gets jealous of light.

Perhaps the silly spring glow,
Where nature alike will grow.

But about that autumn night,
So tender and tense suffice
A leaf could come and go,
By the flower's dancing might.

Untilled language that supports no tone
A sleepy job that no skills display:
Poor poet who has lost his song
Sits in blue and writes away:
Sad poet, too poet you be-
Too poet you are, too high your desire;
The intrepid poet, not given to know
Any song that should inspire.

I think our love was endless love
And deep it was as oceans dwell:
With waves that hit the shores that arch
That hit our home or citadel:

The moss-stone bricks tell'd tales of love,
Each cloud a kiss in summers wade,
And lay there once a lady-dove
Whose heart is mine to now replay:

When kisses sent the swift-ends high
Like windy boos from jealous eve,
And star-lit skies reopened high
To watch our love in cold reprieve:

And garden grasses grew greener for her
And tulips bloomed to shine her way
And memories last the all of her
When this love tip-toes away.

I think I found a beautiful one,
One with eyes that sparkle beautiful none,
My, oh my, the way she speaks,
And eyes that cannot let me speak,
I think more than cats have got my tongue,
When she moves away like none,
Her sound like water in the pond,
A drip, a drop, surrounding one.

Look no further than The Westwood Winds!
Near the westward sky in the western sphere:

Where the sun has interest in your eyes
Like a lady's smile should her lover near:

Just past the trees grown medium-height
Over houses brick lie the treeline base

Just through black-tip wires sit with birdies tight
Where lakewater dwells in a creeky wake:

The way she moves with her voice and her hair,
It's almost like she knows I'm there,
Her voice so dreamy with eyes that match deep,
And her skin so soft like downy on sheet:
I think I almost like her there,
When she moves with her silent hair,
It to me sounds like sheep,
Counting away the days we'll meet:

I can't - I can't control my heart
When it thinks of you,
It sinks deep - I think it means it's true
My heart, why does it cry?
My tears are wiped, and my face is kept dry
I can't - I can't control my heart
