grey,the colour of a ray
gay,the rest of my day

dress,i won't give it a rest
best,i promise to do at no one's behest

anxiety, not one to bring to tea
piety,and pie tee?

may,the promise at bay
yay,the way to play?
Denise Writes Jul 2017
gay
im here to say "hey
why sorry im gay",either
way,im here to stay
Denise Writes Jul 2017
shy
once bitten,twice shy
one touch,quite dry,no more try
innocently lost?

(?)
when does life begin?
does it begin when i wear
a dress and makeup?
Denise Writes Jun 2017
there's no poverty in my poetry
but there's poverty overtly

in people's lives
in their lines
that draw their heart, souls and minds

so draft a fine line
between the world that crafts the binds
that blind
and world that
wakes and bakes
the path that lacks the ache
Denise Writes Jun 2017
stonewall never had an aim
to leave people with ****** heart
but instead a to craft a game
to change the tone with a start

rainbows come from storms
but this rainbow isn't going to bow
before the forms
of patriarchy,how!?

by standing and believing in pride
with a rise and a ride
that believes in equality and diversity
not to forget love to overcome adversity

staring but not caring
doesn't make you a hero
especially not if you're hetero
claiming to be bearing
the banner of the queer
chanting our cheers

yet ignoring the jeers
of the bigots
that would want to live in the year
of 33 AD, one without bidets and spigots
and closing an eye
believing by and by
that heros come from zeros
yet playing that lute like Nero
Cn: lgbtqia+, cishets, oppression
