and
that backseat "love" lasted only as long as the night
as the memories rush in that morning try as i might
to keep you outta my mind, you're holed in there tight
a battle between "love" and lust...(hint) love lost the fight.
we
caused kisses shared between those wet rival lips
and bare skin touching, form a feeling at these hips
down unbuttoned jeans that your small hand slips
hear that sound, like tearing, as our "innocence" strips.
*******
formed foggy windows from our skin we shared
and dissolved to nothing, ha, like we ever cared
discoveries made at night shed light on how we faired
the sounds of "love" from my speaker actually blared
(lust)
.
My bones were vibrating,
Grinding the bite out of my teeth.
My arms wrapped around my stomach
Tighter than a boa constrictor
Trying to stop the shaking
The vibrating
Originating in the pit of my hopeless stomach.
The churning black hole that could erupt at one twitch.
I ****** at the side of my finger,
Avoiding the nausia,
And avoiding the acid nipping at my tonsils.
Chewing away at my bouncing teeth.
My hunched back leaned against the brick,
Spine curved into my shoulders
Enclosing my frozen chest,
My nose threatening to fall off.
And at that time
I wanted to be anywhere
Just to
Get away
From
There.
UGH. That happened last night.
Oh, I have never looked so good
running in armor thru the woods
Adept with blade or mace

And I know a little magic
which for foes is rather tragic
(it’s a perk for my race)

Be it mountain peak or ocean swell
thru rocky hill and grassy dell
nothing slows my pace

Many Quests I need to finish
there’s Evil I must diminish
(And weapons to replace)

Every belonging I have owned
I have bartered, won or stole
Hording gold just in case

I’m constantly slashed, bashed and burned
by dragons, wildlife and Curs
with no fear on my face

Though I have skills that get me by
There are occasions that I’ve died
Thank god for the last “save”

I will keep right on playing
leveling buy quests and slaying
in my CGI escape

January 2012
I'm lying here with the light on. The fan is set on speed 3, and it's pointed directly on me. Social networks dance on my computer screen. Faces of people, some of whom I've never met, spout endless minutia. So do I. We'd like to think that all of this is bring us closer to one another, but that is anything but the truth. This faux interconnectedness is just another way to live together, alone. These pills are beginning to take hold. My mouth is dry, and not even the coldest, clearest water can quench it. Sometimes I equate staying up that one last hour with having that one last drink. It's the one that always kills you in the morning.

It's 4:45 AM, and my alarm is set for noon.
Irresistible smile, infectious laugh,
what gifts god hath graced thee.
Arrogant creed, selfish need,
what troubles thou have wrought.
Devilish child – cease thy infinite indulgences.
Heartburn

seems like only yesterday,
we were drinking in each others love

we just could not get enough,
we would playfully argue, was it now my turn

our sweaty bodies rolling around
in contorting every shape and form

now babe when I look at you
     I just get heartburn

we can't stand to be even be
     in the same room together,

what happened to that craziness
when we each dressed up in leather

cracking whips and wearing masks,
      pretending to teach and learn

now you know my stomach hurts
       you just give me heartburn

the love has gone and left us cold
you know how milk can turn

what once was has left us now
       need something for this heartburn
