Looking for friendship,
Into my life came he,
Many hated him for reasons unknown,
A quiet loner, but,
Oh! So possessive.

He listened to me ramble about,
Foes and frolics,
Woes and world,
Never did he complain.
I told him everything,
But I didn't even know his name.

Ties broken and relations gone,
Everyone lost,
And I was lost in him,
But I was dying,
Fading,
Piece by piece.
His kind, blue eyes drowned me,
In reassurance.

Months flew,
Standing at the Doors of Death,
Gasping, choking,
I reached for his hand,
Realization dawned on me,
As he stood, silently smirking at me.
To consume yet another soul,
He left me dying,
In the echoes of his name-

"Loneliness"
A few memories resurfaced and voila! A poem.

Deep asleep my heart stops beating,
why am I here this is a mistake.
Lost in darkness my skin is freezing,
I fell asleep but did I wake.
I do remember a porcelain plate,
I held a cup I ate and drank,
Hemlock soup with a Death Cap steak,
Oleander tea and a Ricin cake.
Poisonous dreams betrayal and scheming,
was it dinner that sealed my fate?
Looking down I am not breathing,
I feel no sorrow if it ends today.
I see her face but she's not speaking
as I drift into the dark decay

Composed society a system complex rotten and deformed.
Unfettered anger frustration and anguish festering the storm.
Putrid blisters of vile memories, sobriety castrates the scorn.
Impostor hypocrites who pose as friends devour each victim's form.
Again, again I plunge my pen this cauldron of memories mourned.
Unspoken I vent forthright enigmatic in dreams I am reborn.
Unbroken, unbent, unwavering, dramatic,
I drag along the garden thorn.

Darkness unimaginable
Fear incomprehensible
Lies unapologeticall
Where in lies the fun???

To celebrate the wicked truth
To claim ignorant belief
There in lies the great deceit
Wrapped in words:
"Trick or treat"....

My past is so blotted & blotched,
Yet, I am living this moment.

Painful or not, it'd hardly matter,
Any luck with life, I miss daily,
I miss all my possibilities,
None have I achieved,
To time I put my ode,
Ever so desperately,
Dying will be easier.

Perhaps, I'd wait until my parents,
And then I shall embrace her,
Saying, “Sorry, I kept you longing,”
This time there is no guardian angel.

There stood an imaginary, invisible houri fairy
As a bride under a maple tree
Dressed in prism-hued layers
of chiffon in ethereal shimmers
and delicate silken gossamers
She having her weeny wedding in the fall
And fairy folk bustled about all round her
as flimsy and flighty as they could be
while saffron leaves fell down upon her
in ceremonial nuptial
An autumn's ritual
and as nature's pretty confetti!

Branches denuded
Yet autumn's august
for the wilting's
ravishing!
The willowy fairy
almost drowned
in henna fallen maple leaves
Playing hide 'n'seek with a browny brownie groom
camouflaged in the heap

This is about Autumn with a blend of eastern and western terms to describe the autumnal season and colours and to embody the commonly heard phrase, " she was married in the Fall"

Is anyone else here,
Facing this problem
That every new poem
Becomes invisible for others?

Dear life, you know what's your ultimate truth,
End you do one fine day - often in pain.
A real fountain I wish there existed of youth,
Treat my senescence it would and I shall be young again,
Happiness and togetherness are all I seek to gain.

Roger Turner - Poet
I walk the stones each Sunday
I leave flowers as I walk
Not for certain people
Just in case the spirits talk

I left a rose for Eleanor
Gone 100 years
Just to let her know that
Someone still sheds tears

There's lots to learn while out here
Walking through the stones
Listen close to all the voices
That aren't as silent as their bones

There are soldiers who died fighting
For freedom they did die
From the beginning of our country
Who now beneath us lie

They fought the revolution
Some fought in Vietnam
Some died lost deep inside themselves
Now, folks don't give a ****

There's many here of children
From the old orphan home
They found them buried out in back
So, there their spirits roam

The grass is kept up nicely
Though the stones are left to rot
I try to clean them up a bit
I guess I'm all they've got

I started out just walking
Now, I clean the stones while here
I give them the respect they miss
I can feel their spirits near

So next time you're out walking
And you want to stretch your bones
Bring a brush down to the graveyard
We'll take a walk among the stones
