If you find me staring off
I'm probably trying to orchestrate
Forced hallucinations
We call reality
Merging layers of fantasies
That ones where we photoshopped our dreams
Pouring them out of our hands
to imitate art

I look to the sky as a canvas
Using my wracked mind as a weapon
Exploiting the sun in my eyes
As enlightenment
The grand totality of everything
And the line of time

Lost a bet with myself that this was wishful thinking
It's just a constant mirror
Reflecting the unseen unconscious
We're all in here manifesting some parts
Of our skewed imagination

No matter how violent
The nose bleed
Or lapse in consciousness
Getting lost in flashes of lights
Seizuring out the message
A sign from some higher power
Stream of skewed consciousness/Anxiety about an MRI

I know you've been through so much
and ache so deep inside.
I can't begin to understand how
you are so strong.
You've been abused
you've had your heart broken
you've cried a trillion tears.
Through all of what you've been through
you still are so sweet towards all
even the ones who have hurt you.
I know that it will take time
for your wounds to heal
and maybe not all of them will.
But what I can do is always
be there for you
always be your shoulder to cry on
always be there to answer your
calls at 3 in the morning.
You are the love of my life
and I will not allow for another
person to hurt you in anyway
shape or form.
I will try to heal the
breaks that have been
created in your beautiful heart.
You're my soulmate.
When you fall in love
The World is an open book
A sky filled with white doves
Beauty in everywhere you look

When you see her crying
There is pain deep inside
As if your heart is dying
It strips away at your pride

When she kisses you
On the clouds you walk
Feelings touch so true
Finding voices to talk

This is a feeing of hope
Deep down in your being
For each day you can cope
The gift of the feeling .....

.....To love

Birds soaring,
Clouds racing,
Sky filled with light.
Heart beating,
Spirit rising,
End is in sight.

People staring,
Not believing,
Clothes ***** and worn.
Legs dragging,
Arms hanging,
Broken, twisted and torn

Now returning,
War ending,
Defeat for the South.
Bed waiting,
Family crying,
One word in my mouth,

Home!

I was walking on the seashore when I heard a fearful cry
I looked out across the water where a man was drifting by
"You've got to help!" he shouted, "There's a lifebelt in your reach,
"If you throw it to me quickly I'll get back onto the Beach!"
I hastily began to do exactly as he said
When a little word of warning made its way into my head.

"You reckon this will help," I said, "that is what you believe,
"But to trust short-term solutions here is hopelessly naive.
"You think the belt will save you, and for now maybe it would
"But to teach a faulty lesson here could do more harm than good
"You want something for nothing and that just is not the way
"In the sophisticated economic climate of today -
"You need trade!  You need trade, not aid
"You need trade!  I can't help until you've paid.
"You say that you're in trouble and my help is all you need
"But a culture of dependency is all that it would breed!"

"What's wrong with you, you maniac?" he answered with a yell,
"I'm drowning in the ocean and there's nothing here to sell!
"We can talk about your theories when I'm back upon the shore
"Now just throw the ****** life-belt out, I beg you, I implore!
"You have it in your power and you know that if you can
"You've a moral obligation to assist your fellow man!"

I told him, "You are selfish!  This is difficult for me,
"D'you think a drowning person is a pleasant thing to see?
"You shouldn't be in the water if you haven't learned to swim!"
He said "You no-good lousy *******, it was you who pushed me in!"
Well this kind of moral blackmail made me look at him, aghast
And say, "There really is no virtue here in dwelling on the past,
"You need trade!  You need trade, not aid
"You need trade!  I can't help until you've paid.
"You say that you're in trouble and my help is all you need
"But a culture of dependency is all that it would breed!"

"Don't be so pessimistic," I advised him, "you are rich!
"The sea in which you're drowning must be lowping full of fish!"
"If that's what you're relying on," he said, "to judge my wealth,
"Then you know that I have nothing, 'cos you caught them all yourself!"
I said, "Well, you can't argue with the laws of competition
"You were wasting time by drowning when you should have been out fishin'!"

When finally he died I said, "My brother, I will miss you,
"But maybe more importantly, you've highlighted an issue:
"Drowning is a problem, and believe me, now you're gone,
"I'll be on the phone to Geldof, Ultravox and Elton John.
"We'll organise a concert so that everyone can see
"That drowning is a menace, we should make it history!
"Using trade!  Using trade, not aid,
"Good, free trade, the grestest plan we've ever made,
"You say that you're in trouble and my help is all you need,
"But a culture of dependency's a rotten thing to breed!"

Come and try my medicine,
If you don't think it works.
It tastes good, smells good,
And I get so hungry, I could eat my shirt.

It helps me stay awake.
It helps me sleep at night.
It slows the sweat in summer heat.
And warms me from the Winter's bite.

It eases the pain of sickness and cancers.
It eases the pain in the knees of the dancers.
It eases the throbbing in the eyes of glaucoma.
It keeps me from ripping and burning my homework.
It slows the decay from Auto-Immune.
It even makes a lovely smell to fill my room.

Theres never the right words to describe feeling like I feel, even if the right words existed they would fail to properly define how scared I am for myself and my actions and the results that these poor ******* who love me will have to go through.  The very awareness of my intelligence and my unbelievable fortune are for some reason both my only blessing and ultimate demise because the luckiest man in the world is never content.  Im sick inside, im sure im dying.  Why cant I just start over, I know id do it the same, only maybe id see it earlier, maybe I could spare her the pain she doesn’t yet know is coming.
