Wind drifting through grass
At my feet, it stops and moans
Wind breaks- moaning ends
When the wind stops, silence remains- the moment of stillness.

Hope
Candle burning out
Becoming smaller, melts down
Still giving out light
The hope that remains even when eveything is shattered.
Water dripping down
From the leaf after the rain-
And the last drop falls
The silence after..........
Saw this place somewhere
Oh! It was my golden dream
Now the dream haunts me
There are some places where you cannot go even if you want to because of the people or yourself.

The Broken Kite
Little boy flying kite
Drifting in the air, strand breaks
Holds the strand alone
The moment of loss — when something slips from your hand. And you cannot do anything instead of standing and watching it.
Sitting on shoulder
Swallow says to Happy Prince-
I will never leave
The moment before letting go.
A bright beam of light
It fell right into my eyes
Now searching that light
The opportunity that once stood infront of ourselves is now gone.

A Deer at a Pond
A deer near a pond
Drinking water, sees a lion
Now fears the water
Some moments of happiness that suddenly turn into horror that haunts all the life.

Letting Go
Still hanging on tree
Unwilling- the leaf falls down
Now sways in the way
Love is all about letting go.

Learnt To Swim
Drowning in the sea
Choking- the pressure on me
But I learnt to swim.
My first Haiku. Its about how people laugh at you when you fail. But you make them silent with even a greater comeback.

Sway
Raindrops on the roof,
They’ve given me a change of mood,
Washing all the desolation away —
Like a freebird, like a goof,
Inside me, joy that brewed.
In the rain, I dance and sway.
This poem is inspired by Ruskin Bond's "Hip-Hop Nature Boy".

Checkmate
Celebrating too early-
"Resign youhi", he said.
Then made a blunder-
An end to his journey.
The web i spread,
His king, ready to surrender.
Inspired by a real chess match where my opponent starts celebrating too early and taunts me - "resign youhi". But resigns himself later.

Clock
Going round and round all the way.
Whether you count or not,
I count every second night and day.
Your life's ticking forward, filling like a ***.
The end is not far away.
Just jotting down whatever’s on my mind.

Try Again
You got a dream,
A spark inside you.
Your eyes got that gleam,
A passion inside you.

Each step is fuel,
The energy inside you.
Hard work’s a tool,
The patience inside you.

The dreams and the desire,
A hope inside you.
Turn the spark into a roaring fire —
You’re one of the few.

Life is full of pain,
The strength inside you.
Try again,
And make your dream come true.

Fading Away
Time flies by,
Everything fades away,
Like a candle burning out,
Watching it decay.
Chasing the light,
Losing the day.
Life and dreams
Fading away.
Everything will eventually fade away like a candle slowly burning out. Its inevitable. So its important to enjoy every second and minute of our life. We always think about our future(chasing the light) and lose our day(present).

Sunrise Unseen
A sunrise that no one watches.
Unseen. Unappreciated. Neglected — it dispatches,
From the horizon, looking up at the sky,
Only to see the moon approaching by.
This poem reflects the quiet moments of beauty and hope that often go unnoticed — like a sunrise that no one watches.

Mirror
If a mirror could fall in love,
It would be you.
If a mirror could stare for hours,
It would stare at you.
If a mirror was to show something,
It would show the light reflected from you.
If that mirror had to introduce itself,
It would introduce you… to you.
More than a reflection — a mirror sees the light in you, just as someone in love sees beyond the surface.

Not Alone
Sitting like a stone,
Why have we grown?
The moon’s following you,
On the street, walking alone.

Muted
The clock that does not tick anymore,
The sea that does not soar anymore,
The joy that does not roar anymore—
My soul suddenly went silent;
The body does not feel anymore.
What would a mirror say if it could talk back?
You stare at me as if I only show your looks.
But I reflect the weight your eyes hold.
Cactus is spiky—yet thrives where most life can’t.
Snow is gorgeous, but warmth it lacks.
This poem explores the idea of self-reflection beyond physical appearance.
The mirror sees more than just the surface — it reflects the emotions and truths hidden in our eyes.

JOURNEY
Remembering the shadows
Staring at the footprints left behind,
All through the journey—
A heart filled with regrets,
And eyes pouring futility.

Can’t blame the seasons,
No use cursing the mirror.
Life’s been falling like a dried leaf,
And the mind is filled with chaos.

Still, there’s a calmness in the silence,
And regrets hold a deeper meaning.
Fallen leaves enrich the soil—
Where new life begins.
