Is it pathetic to say:
"Please come back?"
Because that's all I think
When I see photographs of you.

Is it pathetic to fall on my knees
And beg you to remember.
To remember what it felt
Like to hug me close
Under those fireworks.
To remember how we spent
More time looking at the
beauty in each other,
Rather than the
Sparkle in the sky.

Is it pathetic to tell you
How many hours I have
Spent wishing to once-again
Feel your body close to mine,
To feel your sweet tongue on my skin?

Because if it is,
I won't say anything at all.
For what's worse than being
So easily forgotten by you,
Is watching the respect you
once held for me be replaced by
nothing more than simple pity.
