Weather is getting colder,
even though summer is around.
You sleep on the side of my bed,
your curls golden brown.

Sleeping like an angel,
mesmerizing from every angle.
Moonlight is hitting your face,
the way realization hit me.

You were a soothing view,
calm like you're somebody new.
Eyelashes long and curled
like a cupid arrow.

You had the magic on me,
you had a pure hello.
They casted a shadow on your cheeks.
Sun kissed even though the moon loves you.

The kisses left on your face
cold and fleek.
Breathing evenly
or maybe more heavenly.

Feels like I’m all alone on a land,
Surrounded by oceans, yet I still drown in the sand.
I was looking for signs to run away,
You were stronger, so you pulled me to stay.

When the night darkens, I see the fire you turned on,
I run somewhere, only to get to nowhere.
Boats and ships passing by,
They don’t notice me, so I wish to fly.

Is it really happening?
or is it just inside my head?
Am I going to **** me?
and find myself in the morning dead?

I Don’t Say It Enough

I don’t say it enough,
But loving you was tough.
Every little thing
Could either make me spring
Or devour my ink.

What if it’s not true?
What if you leave me soon,
Leaving me to feel like a loon?
This thinking eats at my soul.

Yes, the chains are holding me back—
That’s something I can’t deny; it’s a fact.
But do I love you less?
No, still, you make me feel like a mess.

I’m sorry I don’t say it enough,
But loving you is tough.
