Cracked ribs,
Broken hips,
Killed physically,
Alive heavenly,
It is well with my soul,
Fleshly desires no longer in control,
Kingdom awaits,
Open the gates,
Walls of gold,
While the earth has turned to mold.

People look at the blue sky,
The sun shining,
They think its beautiful,
Then the clouds get jealous,
They roll in,
And people look away in disgust,
Then the rain comes,
Because the clouds,
Are crying.

You taught me how to shoot,
I cant wait to shoot you,
You taught me to never forgive,
And I can't forgive what you did,

Now I've written this poem,
About how you deceived me,

How you turned me cold,
About what you did.

When you die, you got this feeling,
When you die, someones stealing,
When you die you stop believing,
When you die you stop dreaming.
When you die you start seeing,
When you die there ends the teaching,
When you die you need no speaking,
When you die theres One leading.

Where is this world comin' to,
What kinda bangs am I jumpin' to,
What doors will I be bustin' through,
Be good cause I'll be trustin' you,
What burning bridges will I be duckin' through,

God, are you there?
Do you really care?
I haven't seen you in awhile,
I haven't even seen a smile.
Through the dark, you were my light,
Through the hard, you were my fight.
Now the dark has taken over,
And I wish you were closer.

You are the one,
Who understands me,
Who helped me through the hardest times,
When my own family wasn't there,
You are the one,
Who gave me a home,
When my own,
Didn't fit that label,
You are the one,
Who showed me what love is,
Who took time to heal my cuts,
Even when I kept cutting,
Who helped me with my anger,
Til i had none left,
You are that one,
And i owe you my life.

I used to look up to you,
I used to dream of you,
Now I can see right through you,
I can see the dark heart inside of you,
The heart I trusted,
Now mines broken and busted,
You are always gonna be stuck in my mind,
No matter how hard I tried,
You lied,
I try to put it out of my mind,
But the thought always comes back, you lied,
He pushed me aside,
Like I was nothing.
