Lord, I’m tired, I can’t find rest,
My heart’s a storm inside my chest.
The one I called my home, my light,
Is out of reach, lost to the night.

He’s someone I can’t hold or keep,
A dream I whisper in my sleep.
I try to move, I try to mend,
But peace begins and ends with him.

And ****, it hurts, it cuts so deep,
A kind of wound that doesn’t sleep.
I want to run, to fall, to scream,
To cry to him like in a dream.

To speak my pain, to feel him near,
Like kids who run when trouble’s near.
But I can’t have that, not this time.
So I just bleed between each rhyme.

Maybe love really does make me crazy
For someone like you, I’d take it all
Your flaws, your mess, your every fall.
I’d risk it, forget the pain,
Let the bad days wash down the drain.

But when it’s not you, I can’t pretend.
I keep my distance, I won’t bend.
Their chaos, their noise, I shut it out.
I’m quick to leave, quick to doubt.

'Cause if it’s not you,
I won’t stay.
I won’t break for someone
Who ain't you anyway.

The Unshakable Poet
SPhiros May 20
Unshakable, I stand with confidence,
In words I live, and speak my foes to death.
My blade forged from experience
Both swift and finely drawn,
A sword that cleaves through dusk until the dawn.

Each phrase I wield strikes deep beneath the skin,
A sharpened truth that tears the soul within.
Yet clad in armor, forged from ethereal courage
No wound of speech has ever left a stain.

But oh, how strange this trembling,
I'm suddenly ruined,
When all it takes is the whisper of your name.
The world I braced now falters in its frame,
And I, unshakable, am not the same.

Set Sail On A Journey
SPhiros Apr 19
Forget everything.
Let’s set sail on the sun.
Whisper the word, and I’ll go.
Under the sunset, we lie
I'll take your hand without a doubt

I’d build a world from nothing—
a world you desire,
you deserve,
and you shall have.

In a bottomless beer, I find myself stuck.
I found a brief, reckless peace—
the kind that once lived beside you, quietly

But the winds changed.
You moved like light,
and I, like weight, stayed behind.

Now I watch you drift,
farther than I ever realized—
a silhouette against a bleeding horizon,
a beautiful departure.

A view I must learn
to appreciate and carry.
Without chasing,
I stay
and wish you
a beautiful journey.

A Creators Touch
SPhiros Mar 24
O Lord,
I have failed to cherish the art You have made-
That sets the sun in my everyday
Yet through him, I found You
And I stand still, waiting; abiding by Your rules

The work of man—misunderstood
Yet within that room, I saw  light
In a box of blocks, between the lines
I've found and I've known
A sketch of future, present and past

Oh, how wondrous is your touch
Only I can dream what it feels like
Etched in all that man creates
How I admire the man you create.
Who? YOU.

Stalled Mechanism
SPhiros Mar 20
An engine built to run forever
Cracks beneath the weight of winter.
Ironic—when we've only known summer,
Yet here we are, frozen in time.

The warmth that once kept it alive
Now threatens to burn it down.
A fire waiting to ignite,
A winter that refuses to pass.

Still, a burning warmth lingers—
Not from the sun, nor from the sky,
But from a presence, close yet distant,
A force both near and out of reach.

Words collide,
Paragraphs misaligned,
Like rusted gears,
They grind and slip inside my mind.

A missing piece—unseen yet felt,
Leaving the whole incomplete.
Spinning endlessly, yet stuck in place,
No matter how I push, I stay the same.

Now tell me, how does one turn,
When the piece that makes it whole
Rests in the hands
Of someone who will never return?

Unseen Reverie
SPhiros Mar 17
A view in sight
Appreciated in mind
Whole view, take in the whole picture
White shoes, takes you wherever
Come closer, I beg to differ
But I'm convinced, weak willed
Poetry I make
What difference does it make
The board that you revolve around
Stuck like a kid confused
Wondered I am
Amazed of what I see
A stare only I can be
Will you ever get to see?

Suddenly Unraveled
SPhiros Mar 16
Feelings unravel, turns into mess
Butterflies rumbling inside my chest
Indescribable this feels
Pain.. it shall be
Haven't felt this way in forever
Hurting about something not to bother
Gentleness isn't something with comfort
In pain you find a lullaby it matters
Who hurts and who hurt
It doesn't matter
For my soul had chosen
Its you who matters

My name is something lost then found
Screamed by one of the greatest mind
Both a mystery and accomplishment
Under the water I was made
Told of cultures that is ignored then found again
Willing to keep everything alive
Art is something daily seen
Yet heard and also feel
Mathematics that hides within the depth
In the naked eye you can't possess
Innovating it makes us closer to each other
With less words connects us to one another

Hint: My name is hidden
I choose to publish this as my first poem. This account is made anonymously, I changed everything from email to username. But through poems you can connect to one another, you can get to know a person and how they think, so if you can figure it out, I guess it's worth that you also know my name:) Thank you.
