i do not sing the storm. i do not sing rage, wrath
the lightning bolt, the scream. Despair i do not sing
i do not sing struggle–revenge poisonous blast–
the hurricane, the quake that tears the city of peace

i do not sing no border. i do not sing no flag
i do not sing no warrior but she that fights all fear
Poverty & sickness-night, the blade, the club, the trap
blows, wounds, cries, lies, bursts & war-blood i do not sing

i do not sing despise for any thing or being
i do not praise no richness no governors, no kings
From all this flower-garden i pick one single rose:
creation is just dew upon the rose of love

i celebrate one flame. i only sing one blues:
the flame of endless loving with you & only you
If anyone asks you I am old
and out of shape.  My legs
curl under me when I stand.
There is a whoosh in my ear
from the fall the other night.

My face of many colors
goes before me like an
electric light.

I wobble on shifted
ground.  No longer young
I am a cramp in the leg
of time.

My children go before me and
I watch and I wait.  They are
middle aged and turn to their
own concerns.

I remain ununderstood not
that I was, clearly, ever taken
for the woman I was.

If anyone asks tell them
I understood the song
of madness,

and I wait for
the end
of reason.

prairiegrass dreams

Across the Sandhills
wading into the untamed Niobrara
barebacked.. brown,  and beautiful

Within her Misty Mountain dreams
she is heading my way.
Ah, sweet lord God almighty,
look at her go..

Westbound,  she is best-found

    right there..  on the edge
of these dreams of my own

Oh my lord..
look at that beautiful horsedream  go
Will I be able to survive her..

  I don't know
.  .  .

You feel him..  don't you, sweet one..
my beautiful Snickers
on that Gordon, Nebraska hill--
his home,  his birthplace..

Until his beautiful spirit
one day..  finally found me

Striated and stoic
he is waiting for you..
To bring, you
the rest of the way home.

North now,  into Dakota
as you bleed
with the Lakhóta
on a trail,  split

   between Pine Ridge..
   and Wounded Knee.

Feel your war-torn  Spirit
melt  in to them
(you will not fall)

As you ride this black-maned  dream
just a bit further North..
towards a man, named Paul

Within my own,  I can feel you both

Ah hell, babe..
I can feel you all

hold on to your dream of this dream..
remember every-thing

Rough draft, this feels inadequate
to the picture I want to convey.
His likeness is in the sixth frame shown,
and again, between the two  of her;

His eyes.. in the two, up close.
You will not go lonely

You take flights on paper planes
on September nights to escape the rain
love sits beside you
and so does pain
in their hands, feelings from June
and they sit there waiting
to take you to the moon

It’s hard to change drastically overnight
Flip your nervous system upside down
Starve unhealthy neural pathways to create space for newer healthier ones
But small consistent changes
Are what you should strive for
The patient process is what results in change
I wish I could stop
this feeling inside me
that brings you back
at night before falling asleep

I wish I could stop
this feeling inside me
that reminds me every
morning that you left
and took a part of me

I wish I could stop
this feeling inside me
that doesn't let me enjoy
the sun, moon or beach
because it brings memories
of how beautiful
it used to be

I wish I could stop
this feeling inside me
that keeps on reminding me
that I lost, by not letting
you win, at the end
we both lost
now this love story
is over
between you and me....

If a trash could write a poetry
Would you like to read?
Or you just regard it ******
Cause nothing worth comes from it
